- Architecture of the college is good but could be better with more campus area because of the big crowd.
- I have just completed my first year and so far the college life is good with average social interactions.
- All are experienced faculty with expertise in their respective subjects teaching method in bit fast due to completion of portion but overall good.

- Campus is small less space for events to be held in campus.
- Less mass events are being held in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
First year curriculum includes subjects like Mechanics, Bee, C, Graphics, physics, maths, chemistry. These subjects are for all the departments for the study of complete engineering, from next year curriculum gets different for the respective departments. It prepares us for for real time applications and solving problems. Improvements should be done in areas where the practical knowledge is given more importance. Exams are held frequently two internal assessments, submission, viva, projects, presentations and final exams in each semester.
Internships Opportunities
Since, i have just completed my first year i didn't go for any internships. But the college offers paid or unpaid internships or you find yourself. Projects are required to grab companies attention for internships.
Placement Experience
Decent campus placements are provided companis like tcs, capgemini, mindspace, etc come for recruitment. You should have more tha 7.5 cgpa to sit for placement rounds. Average salary package offered is of 6 lpa while least and highest is of 3 and 24 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee will increase by 1.5% every next year. The general category students have to pay the full fees while there is a relief for other category students. Scholarships upto 60000 are provided for EBC and EWS on full fees. Campus placements is okay with average fresher salary of 600000
Campus Life
Events like Geek for geeks, zeus, gyantantra, zephyr, are held annually. Festivals like Ganesh chaturthi, garba are celebrated. Books are easily available and accessible in the library. Each classroom has projector with pc and white screen. Many social groups like nss, codehub, roadsafety, etc are available.
Admission
Admission is taken though the online maharashtra web portal on the basis of the 12th percentage and percentile secured in the entrance exam. JEE and MHTCET bot Entrance exams are considered. Direct admission is also taken in which no scholarship is provided. Frequent exams are held which makes schedule busy for students. Internal assesments are easy but the final university exams are difficult. I personally feel that the elegibility criterea for engineering i.e more than 45% in PCM in 12th should be increased so the the entrance cuttoff dosen't reaches that high i.e above 90 for general category.
Faculty
In lokmanya tilak college of engineering, i have completed my first year and the faculty to students ratio is good and the learning experience is good. Subjects like Mechanics, Graphics, Bee and C are understood. Faculties are ready to solve doubts even in their non teaching time. Interaction of student and teacher is also good.
