Course Curriculum Overview
I was very intrested to join in AIML branch, so that i can have an advantage of computer science branch and a specialisation of my intrest. Hod of our branch is highly qualified. College encourages us to attend and mostly conducts many activitites and hackathons for all the specialised branches in the college itself. But the fact is industry not hiring freshers into AIML specialised jobs. I think some more faculty should be included for our branch. Almost the curriculum same for all branches but specialisation subjects are included in 2nd year . Overall a decent college.
Placement Experience
After 3rd year 2nd semester u will be eligible for college placements. College has good placements, this year the highest package is 25 lpa. Many companies visits our campus for hiring. Nearly 50 companies visits every year. Last year due to covid hit hiring decreased but previous years a 100 percent placement is recorded. I think from this year its gonna increase as the placements team had changed. Training is given from 3rd year 2nd semester for placements. Some of the students plans to study in abroad after BTech.
Fees and Financial Aid
Iam from convener quota and fee will be same for the 4 years from the starting year. This year college fee is 100000 per year. Convenier quota will get 35000 reimbursement for obc, and full fee reimbursement for reserved castes. Its a value of money to join in this college. Students who are from middle class family background can enjoy a good college life with good value of money. Along with college fee 5500 for NBA and 4500 for library and all the rest of the facilities.
Campus Life
Many fests are conducted. Almost 5 to 10 fests for every year. Many social awareness programs also conducted by the college clubs but all the students are not allowed except the club members. Many clubs in our college. Among them one of them will take opportunity to organise fests. All the stuff and ground are very good but no time allocated for sports in academics. Main halls are with Ac's. Classrooms are clean and good, equiped with projectors. Students who wish to join in clubs can have good oportunities.
Admission
I secured 49k in ts eamcet. I think i was the last rank to get seat into aiml in this college. I got seat in 2nd phase.but cutoff decreased a lot . If u want seat in this branch it is now somewhere below 35k for OBC, And 55k for SC & ST. For OC it will be somewhere below 25k this year. Admission block is always available to assist us during the admission. Admission process is very easy and admission staff is always available to assist.
Faculty
Ours is a new brach but some faculty is good CSM(aiml). Faculty are very friendly with student which creates a good learning atmosphere. A fair ratio of faculty-to-student. Some faculty are not so good. But overall a good college for students in terms of faculty. All the faculty will be available all the time in college hours. Most of the faculty interacts with all the class students.
