Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was one of the setbacks of the University. The way the subjects and practicals were organised was not good enough and not up to the mark. At the time of joining, promises were made that the University has all the facilities and even the practical labs for the course we selected, however, it was at the joining that we realised that the facilites were not upto the mark. Overall, the course curriculum was more inclined towards generic Mechanical Engineering rather than focusing on Automobile Engineering.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The University had Merit based scholarships and also has reservations based on the state rules and regulations. When it comes to financial assiatance, the university has limited recourses and they would like you to aid yourself and try to keep way from financials of the student.
Campus Life
The campus life at the Uni ws amazing. They had excellent campus spread across 67 acres of land with lush greenary. The library, books and journals were abudnantly available. The University encouraged their Phd students to take up classes for the new joinees which was very helpful to get inputs from the person who is studying at the higher level. The infrastructure of the university if one of the best in Hyderabad.
Admission
The admission process followed by the University is inline with the rules and regulations set by the state. Initially, the students are accessed on the basis of the marks they scored in their entrance test be it Eamcet / NEET and there was no cut off for the marks scored in intermediate +2. Any one who managed to score well in the entrance test was admitted and that's how the admission process works. The acpect which as per me was not good is the cut off for +2 marks and I believe that there should be one in place.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student Ratio was 42:1 i.e. there was 1 faulty available for 42 students. Saying that, the faculty were well experienced and had enough experience in teaching. Also, the Univerity encouraged that the Phd students give seminrs and lectures in order to enhance thieir skills and learning. Teaching style and methodology was good and the staff used to regularly interact with the students in order to clarify any doubts they had. Overrall the University staff was good and experienced.
