Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is a bit fast pacing and that why it is a bit alarming but cause of the teaching ways of the faculty, you will easily catch the course and thus no problem will occur. The exam frequency is 1 semester for 6 months and thus will be facing 2 exams in the span of 6 months and 4 for a year

Internships Opportunities

5

The internships opportunities is really good here, but as a first year la student it is really hard for us to fetch a proper internship as we have just set our foot into the vast legal world, but the campus will help even the first years by providing letters and even recommendations for the students to intern upon

Placement Experience

5

The placement are decent. That is the average placement of SOA SNIL is around 6-7 Lakhs per annum and which is really decent for a lawyer without any proper experience. But the placement depends upon the marks and behaviour of the students. That is the student must have done 5 internships and cgpa over 7 for being eligible to sit in the placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of SOA SNIL is 75000 per semester and being a course of 5 years the course comes to a total of 7,50,000. The hostel fees is not included here and the campus employment is really good as the clubs and programmes are sufficient for the students to get involved in

Campus Life

3

The campus life is non existent here as whole of the campus in under construction. The campus doesn't really suit the Nirf ranking that the campus boasts about and thus you will not have a good campus life here. There is even no proper canteen here. But the social programmes are good and thus you will not get bored

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel is provided to the students wanting to avail accommodations. The fees for the hostel is 50,000 for non AC rooms and 90,000 for AC 3 seater rooms. The option is available for single or double seater rooms too but the prince also increases, the mess is compulsory for the students availing hostel, i.e 40000 a year

Admission

The admission process Is simple and you will be applying online by two processes that is through SAAT ( the exam conducted by soa for admission into all of their courses) and the second is the one carried out by the government that is neet for medical, jee for engineering and clat for law

Faculty

5

The faculty to students ratio is really decent and thus doesn't arise any of such problem or miscommunication between them, even the faculty knows the name of every student studying under them. The approach of the faculty towards is the students is really praiseworthy and helps in any way possible for the betterment of the students

The placement opportunities are pretty good actually. Almost 35-40% of the students get placements and many others get pre placement offers. Even the average package is 10 lakhs per annum. Reputed companies like Indus Law, Trilegal, Khaitan visit the campus.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for campus placements. As the Law department is newly opened, there is no direct placement. We have to go through internships and there after assessment internships to grab the PPO. Till now some of the alumni of the law department have placed in tier 1 law firm which is a very good sign about the placement cell of law school.

The placement are good as per my knowledge and inside college discussions, and the students are eligible to sit for placement after completion of 4th semester of LL.B program and after 8 semester of 5 years BA LLB. Mainly tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 botique law firms come for recruitment and certain companies dealing in banking sector and mining sector come for in-house counsel recruitment. Even is one does not get placed in companies and firms, the can apply in the offices of best legal minds of country and become associate in their chambers, they do pay well. Placement rate as per previous years statistics is 68% approx
