the admission is through the joint entrance exam (JEE ADVANCED) which happens once every year but before giving JEE ADVANCED you have to clear JEE MAINS . talking about the eligibilty criteria ,you should have scored more than 75% in 12th boards
Course Curriculum Overview
the curriculum here is very well designed preparing students for real world applications and further pursuits . the exams are always on the tougher side. the curriculum have some drawbacks also like having some courses that are no more relevent to the current industry demands .
Internships Opportunities
the student placement office invites companies every year to hire students in their third year for internships and the number of companies is good enough . almost 60% students get interships .many also get preplacement offers
Placement Experience
we have placement cell of our college which look after placements of the students. students after their 2nd year become eligible to sit for internship drive and after their 7th semester they are eligible to sit for their placements . a large amount of leading companies visit the campus for both placements and internships . highest package offered this year was of 4cr and almost 90%students who sit for placements gets placed
Fees and Financial Aid
the complete four year degree will cost you around 12 lac rupees but if you are not able to afford this fee there are a lot of schlorships which will help you . in short you will never face that you are not able study beacuse of the fee charged ,almost a hundred ddiffrent schlorships are offered targetting every student in need .
Campus Life
we have 3 college fests , antaragini (cultural fest ), techkriti(technical ),and udghosh(sports ), which are held every year .apart from these there are a lots of clubs and societies ,here you can find a club or society related to your interest or if not you can create one .this is like you name it we have it . sports facilities are also very nice
Hostel Facilities
the hostels are alloted by the institute and these either double sharing or triple sharing rooms for the first and second year students , but third year onwards you would be given single rooms . mess food is ok in quality but very bad in taste .
Faculty
faculties are highly qualified having done their phds from prestigious universities around the globe . the faculty student ratio is not so good but it never felt like it hindered our learning ,also the faculty here are very approchable
