The college is in coordination with the national medical College, curriculum and regulations. The college academic set up is in accordance with the competencies given by the NMC. The exams are relevant with moderate to difficult level and are conducted on a regular basis. The clinics gives us a wider spectrum of medicine and it's patient input is Quite appreciable.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides internship opportunities at various government and district level hospitals. They also give us rural Postings in primary health centres in places like Bantwal nearby village. The internship enhances our approach with the patient and health management systems.

Fees and Financial Aid

As a government merit student in the private college, the college is affordable. There is rather no or minimal Change in the tuition fee increase policy. Stipend are awarded To the interns At a good amount. Various students have availed scholarships.

The campus provides with various programs and extra curricular activities with clubs such as dance, cricket, music, drama et cetera. Annually. The Hostel food is nutritionally balanced with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. On a daily basis. The Hostel is extremely affordable and in-house maintenance staff is commendable.

Admission

The eligibility test is neet. I have availed the college through kcet. Reservation and minority benefits can be availed by the students of the same category. The annual NEET exam is the eligibility Criteria with their minimum cut-off marks along with Karnataka CET exam.

They also mentor us Presenting papers and research work. The college also has a research committee that helps individuals come up with their research projects and guide them through the whole process. There is skill and stimulation centre where in students learn the clinical aspects and put in practice the knowledge on various clinical modalities with mannequins. the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

The course curriculum is very comprehensive and relevant for exams but not for real world applications. I feel let the parts of body I was specially fascinating so I like anatomy very much and we also got a very good teacher, the curriculum is very good for examinations however the real wall applications of this curriculum is very little, they should be more real life applications and whatever the latest technology than studies are happening the student should get the latest info about them, timing between two exams in an internal semester should be a little more such as a day or two because we do not get time to prepare the subjects curriculum very well for the examination.
