I really liked the infrastructure and location of the college it's really peaceful and beautiful to pursue your studies at a place like this.
The faculties of the college are really supportive and the way of teaching is so different, they make difficult subjects on our fingers tips
The college is very hygienic all the facilities related to medical and other like ambulance are there.

Dislikes

I don't like the administration regarding the discipline.
I also don't like the syllabus it's too much for a semester.
The attendance system is also very bad, as they allowed below 75% attendance too , to give exams even without genuine reasons

It is good, events like judges interaction and competitions are organised like moot courts, trial advocacy and mun to prepare us for the professional world, there are no such improvements needed but i think the syllabus should be shorter.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 130000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees lf the course for 1 semester is rs.65k , but with domicile 10000 will be less from the amount and scholarship also will be given according to the percentage of your 12th and cgpa should be maintained to continue the scholarship, add ons are if you perform well and make your place in top 10 of class then additional scholarship will be given. Students who don't have good financial background they have relief from fees. Students who lost their parents also get relief from fees 100%.

Campus Life

Freshers, farewell, festival events, muns , moot courts There are almost 8000 books in our Library and there are seperate libraries like law, business and central. Sports activities are organised by sports committees of student only and college provides with funds. There are so many clubs and committees are there run by students only like singing club, art club, moot court committee, legal aid committee and so on.

Admission

Eligibility is 50% of 12th is compulsory for my course. You can contact us online for an application. Exams are held in period of every 3 months as mid-term and end term of semester. If the student is attending lectures daily and paying attention then the exams aren't that difficult.

Faculty

The faculties are mostly PhD ,they're very good in teaching. And the way of taking lectures is very effective and good, they provide proper study material too us, and they always try to make studies easier.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bballb is best course and they have good faculties for law. Curriculum really prepares us a lot for real worls applications or further academic pursuits. Exams are for 3 hrs. This is the maximum time provided.

Law college dehradun an overview.

Placement Experience:

Students of final years become eligible for campus placement. The highest package was 50 lakhs and average is of around 3-5 lakhs. Most of the students opt or litigation or judiciary but those who opt for corporate placement have been placed at good places. I have not decided what I'll opt for yet.

Remarks:

As I had passion for learning about our Indian constitution and with having an aim to join a good legal firm in future I decided to join UPES for giving 5 years for me to gain more knowledge about our Indian legal system, also this college has a different specialisation of energy study, which made me more attracted towards this university as this course seems to me the more future proofing.
