Remarks

I won't say the for 20 lakhs its value for money but in 10 lakh it is!

Entrance Preview

I have opted for ULAT and scored 95 percentile in the same. I had ample of options but the domain focused course that I wanted to pursue was provided by upes alone thus upes was the right choice for me

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I would say it's fairly good, but it depends on the student for that matter to bring the best out of the college and the curriculum and with upes as well this is true. Out of 10 I will give 7 to my course as taxation laws specialization was introduced for the first time, the college faced some difficulties down the line but now they are working on the same.

Internships Opportunities

yes, the college provides Internships starting from the end of 3rd year. usually for 3 years students its private law firms of the lower level and in accordance with your marks and ranks, subject that you have opted for an internship, you will 99% get Internship in some or the other firm from 4th year onward.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college is going through a tough phase with regards to the same even though you will get a job if you apply for but the package usually ranges from 3-4 lakhs which are relatively low. sometimes depending on the firm it can start from 2.5 lakhs as well. last year the maximum package that I know of that college provided was 8.5 lakhs.

College Events

3.5

There are cultural fest that is organized by upes but the scale is not what you see in Delhi university for that matter it is no-where close, but the event and the cash prizes in the events of the fest are always up for grabs, so one shouldn't miss on those opportunities

Fee Structure And Facilities

though it's on the same level as other national Law universities that was at my time now its expensive. the college is relatively expensive moreover including the overhead expenses the course will cost you around 18-20 lakh approx. but that depends on the Nature of the students you travel and commute through your own car then it will be in late 20's.

Fees and Financial Aid

yes, both scholarship and loan facilities are provided by the college, for our batch the scholarship is provided to 1 and 2 rank holder which is at 12.5 and 7 % fee deduction respectively. The moreover you can get the loan for various banks but I won't recommend that as the interest rate is in early teens.

Hostel Facilities

5

the hostel is great, i lived in campus hostel for 4 years initially it was allocated on marks basis now its on first come first serve basis. you get decent furniture and fittings, a cozy bed, table chair and a Godrej almirah.

Exam Structure

it's comparatively good. I would say praiseworthy because upes is constantly working on improving its structure and they do consider the request of the students to provide in the feedback forms. there is a mid-semester exam which holds 20% weight while the end semester exam holds 50% weightage.

Admission

admission process is fairly easy. after you get through the exam the college provides a cut off and the selected students if they so wish to join the course can visit the campus review it and after submitting the prescribed fee along with the relevant documents like marksheet, noc police verification certificate, etc you get through the initial phase

Faculty

3.5

we have faculties from the diversified background, some are extensively knowledgable and hold vast experience while some are relatively new. but the, whether the concerned faculties are knowledgeable or not, should be the question you should ask for! in my opinion it depends on the faculty that teaches you I would say 85 % are knowledgeable

Students of final years become eligible for campus placement. The highest package was 50 lakhs and average is of around 3-5 lakhs. Most of the students opt or litigation or judiciary but those who opt for corporate placement have been placed at good places. I have not decided what I'll opt for yet.
