Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is comprehensive and updated. It covers all essential aspects of medical education. It is nicely crafted and various important topics are covered with a strong emphasis. Seminars, presentations and other innovative methods of teaching are being involved in the curriculum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the college for one year for MBBS Course is 17,80,000 and for complete course is 70,88,500. The hostel charges are excluded from this fees which are 1,61,000 for A.C. Rooms and 1,31,000 for Non A.C. Rooms.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is good but the buildings are scattered in the city they are not at one place so it makes difficult for the students. The fest of the college is ELAYNE which takes place in the month of May. There are various clubs in the college making it helpful for the overall growth of the students.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel facilities are good. The rent I paid for A.C. Room is 1,61,000 it included the electricitu bill, room rent and mess charges. The quality of mess food is okay not so great but you can eat it though.

Admission

The admission process was smooth, I applied through NMC site and received the results online. Then I went to the college for the procedures that need to be done offline only. The cutoff for the first round was 540 marks and my marks were 559 so I got the admission.

Faculty

5

The faculties of the KMC Mangalore are well qualified, knowledgeable and very helpful. They make the MBBS studies very interesting and easily understandable for us and also make qualifying exams easy for us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.
