Remarks

Positive fact about the college is that the college has public private partnership because of which it is tied to two government hospital.more patient exposure.only problem is expensive fee which is little difficult to afford.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is according to mci.3 semester and one university exam.In semester you need to score minimum of 50% to pass the exam.university exam is first year isin month of June after which you get one month holiday.

Placement and job opportunities are good as most of pass out student works in good reputed hospital.yes the college provides stipend in last mbbs year of rs 250000.The overall stipend is good compared to other state colleges.

Events celebrated are- Independence day Ganesh chaturthi-very enjoyable and first cultural fest for first year students. March-month long interclass where you can showcase your talents. College day and award ceremony in March Fashion show And many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of 1124000 per year is bit on the expensive side for middle class family to bear on a child.But compared to other private college the fee structure is very less and level of education is far more better than any other private college.

The student whose neet rank is under 3000 gets scholarship on basis of their parents annual income.Bank like SBI provides loan facility with minimum rate of interest to that you take and repay it within stipulated time.

Labs are well acquired.There is single microscope per student given.college has marena that is equipped with all facilities like indoor outdoor stadium and gym.college has lot of opportunity to show your extracurricular talent.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good for 1st year and have separate campus.They have double rooms which are big and spacious with attached bathrooms.The rooms are cleaned on regular basis and environment is very good in hostel.

In first years you have less contact with senior since you reside in Bejai while they reside in kaprigudda.But the student council and senior members are always ready to help you at any point of time.

Admission

Through selection by neet marks.o n the basis of neet score you get to know whether you get seat or not.This year cut off was about 482 marks.The fee for this year was 11240000.This college is situated in Mangalore.

Faculties are highly qualified and they explain each and every topic very well.They also give you clinical insight that in later years will help you when you start visiting hospital and interacting with patient.

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies.
