Its a great place to learn not only academics but various important aspects of life. We are exposed to the diversity which is extremely important for a well personality.

Course Curriculum Overview

Exams are usually taken in an online mode on exam pads and the results are also announced on the same way. The curriculum is divided according to MCI which is( medical committee of India). The internal exams are held at the end of each semester and after the completion of syllabus University exams are held.

Placement Experience

The placement depends on one's own performance in Neet Pg exam. The neet pg is an All india level entrance exam held every year by NTA. It includes 19 subjects of MBBS. The result of which decides the branch and college for post graduation.

College Events

We have cutural fests which are held both at college and intercollege level, people from other Colleges which are part of MAHE University are invited. We also have other events such as Ganesh chaturthi l, sports events, regular quizzes, poetry competitions, drama etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is expensive but when compared to other private colleges it is the cheapest one. It is 8. 35 lakhs per annum for 4 years and 4. 17 lakhs for 5th year as the course is for 4. 5 year +1 year compulsory internship during which students work in govt/private hospital for 1 year and paid for the same.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the people under 1000 rank in neet ug are given 100% fee waiver. Some are also given fee waivwr on the basis of parents' income.

Campus Life

The gender ratio is 1:1 which includes people from all over India from different culture, ethnicity and background which exposes one to a lot of diversity. There are lot of extracurricular activities which includes sports, debates, fest, quizzes and no. of other competition which are held in between different batches and different colleges all over India. Our college also has a sports Club which has the facility of both indoor and outdoor games.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, There are double seaters ac/non ac rooms available. The rooms are well ventilated and kept clean by the akkas. The hostel fee includes the room charges and mess. It depends on the type of room selected and varies every year (currently around 1. 6 lakhs yearly).

Alumni/Alumna

All the alumini are either settled abroad or doing their pg from the best colleges of the country. The college promotes for research.

Admission

It is based on NEET UG Score. Kmc Mangalore is under MANIPAL UNIVERSITY wich is under yop 10 universities in INDIA. One can apply for it during all India counseling of neet. The counselling has 2 rounds + 1 mop up round One can apply in any of the following.

Each subject has team well trained and educated professors who are always ready to help not only academically but also different spheres of collge life. In the first year we are provided with a teacher gaurdian who keeps a record of our academic performance and helps to improve the same.

curriculum is designed to be highly relevant and comprehensive for modern medical practice.Early Clinical Exposure is One of the strongest aspects of the curriculum is introducing students to patients in their very second year. The final year of the curriculum—the Compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship (CRRI) is effective it prepares students for the high-pressure environment of Indian healthcare, making them very capable of handling emergencies and outpatient departments (OPD ). Students feel that lectures are still too focused on passive PowerPoint presentations.Rigorous schedule, integrating "Life Skills" or "Stress Management" modules more formally into the foundation course would be helpful. The university exams (RGUHS) are generally fair but require a very high level of descriptive writing and practical precision.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the classes are taken regularly in preclinical and paraclinical subject and some of clinical subjects as well. these are slidepresentation, demonstration and group discussions. there is great learning opportunities. case discusions are done in clinical postings. integrated leaning is not much practiced and would be drawback. library timings are not suitable at all.

Placement Experience:

The first batch of students is passed out in this year from our college. Now they are doing their house sutgency. Besides they are preparing for their pg studies. Most of the students will opt for higher studies like MS, MD, etc. Our hospital is average with average cases. And specialty hospital construction work is going on.
