Remarks

Kasturba medical college, manipal university. It has is own fame and name.it is the institute of eminence. There are no negative remarks about my college. All is being here and will surely enjoy my life in my college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Medical profession is like saving a person. Doctor is the next person to God. If you at least cannot help a person in the daily normal life. Doctor is the person who puts all his efforts to save a life.

Placement Experience

Overall our college is nice place. Good jobs happens here. Yes our college provide internship. We have good well built hospital of 2 units. We get a very good experience by working with our own friends and own professors.

Ganesh chaturti interclass enjoy more with friends who cared about us than ourselves tourists visiting our college and our friends enjoyed with them. We enjoy more than in our home here. Totally we enjoyed a lot

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure depends on what government fixes. For me its 98000 RS because I am the resident of karnataka. For student other than karnataka it is 11 lakh and for NRI students it is 33 lakh. So fees is reasonable.

No. I haven't received any loan or scholarship facility from my college because I am financially fit and I have capacity to fill my own college fees.however my friends have received loan facilities.

Campus Life

They see very good ee enjoy alot college conduct many sport meet like interclass competition and inter university competition l.it is helpful for us to be physically fit and mentally strong enough

Hostel Facilities

8/10 yes we have well furnished ac rooms. And also we have non ac rooms. Per room it's two people for accommodation.the surrounding is also well nice. It is situated almost at the center of city.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

100% my seniors are very helpful. At every time they support us at any cost help us in academies and many more things. Yes also we get inspirational speech from our alumni. Our own dean of our college is the alumni.

Admission

NEET is the all India entrance exam for choosing medical course.so we need to clear NEET paper and get our college according to counseling. Basically NEET paper consists of 180 questions 45 physics, 45 chemistry, 90 biology

Faculty

The faculty in my college are awesome. Each professor of each department are really good. We have a innovative method of teaching. We get ample of time to study and to clear our doubts. Here teaching goes digitally.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is covered by theory classes as well as the practical hours, clinical posting time will be change in each semester. As for the exam each year is consist of two semesters, and each semester have two IA exam which coming up of the end semester eaxm. The difficulty of the subjects is based on how each student is will approaching the subject. As my experience of 3 years I felt like that the subjects will be get difficulted in each coming semester. And most of the subject will be having practical exam section which includes the osce section, which helps the students to improve the self confidence and good maintenance of interpersonal relationship. The 1 IA will on 3nd month of your semester starts and the 2 IA will be 1-2 months after your first IA anthe final end semester exam will be on the 6th month after the semester starts....

College mystery: Review on KMC Mangalore

I applied for other government colleges but with the marks I scored in neet this was the best college I could get. I particularly chose it over other private colleges that were nearer to my place because of the rich alumni circle and the opportunity it provides in terms of research and usmle and plab preparation I did apply to other government colleges for mbbs but my marks weren't enough to make it through The admission process is through all India councelling. eligibility is neet qualified and there are a cut off marks and u need to score above that around 50 students also come from KEA quota that is through Karnataka state councelling and last year when I took addmission the cut-off marks were 550/720 for all India students, this year I guess the cut off was 620 /720...Read More
