I didn't chose this course but actually got according to my rank score in Jee Mains but yeah after enrolling to this course here I kind of in th middle of liking and not liking the course. The faculties of the course are top notch well educated in thier subjects exams are conducted in form of quizzes mid sem and an end sem. Our college placements are quite good. Average package offered is 12-13 lpa and students are eligible to sit in placements in start of 4th year meanwhile one can do internships in companies starting from 3rd year Placement ratio on an average is 95%+ Highest package offered till now is 1Cr off campus and around 80 lpa on campus

Campus life is like average mainly there is a good amount of academic pressure on students but still time to enroll in your favourite clubs to do some fun activities conducted by respective clubs Also lat year in 2023 Student Activity Centre is also opened which consists of a small gym a big badminton court dance hall drama hall and some more to refresh and energise urself a lot of sports activities also go hand in hand like small tournaments within college of Cricket Football Badminton and indoor games like Chess etc

The boys' hostel rooms at IIIT Guwahati vary in size and configuration. First-year students are typically housed in double occupancy rooms. From the second year onwards, students are generally assigned single rooms. The double occupancy rooms have shared toilet facilities among eight such rooms, while some smaller double rooms come with double-decker beds and attached bathrooms Mess food is just bearable average don't aspect to be good except few days registration for hostel was simple u have to register at the time of reaching there to the hostel wardens and they will allocate u ur rooms and ur room partner

My addmission process was in online mode.All required data and form submissions were done online. I got this college through CSAB counseling with my Jee Mains score I'm General Category and got this course at rank of 30k

Most faculties have done P.hd from IIT's or if from any local government college or such are gold medallist in their respective fields. Faculty to student ratio is 1:17 approximately which is quite good for a typical Indian Institute and most faculties are approachable throughout the day u can just mail them to meet and they will reply within some hours and u can then go to their respective cabins and discuss your problems or doubts
