What Students Say

Likes

At least they have practicals and teachers helping in practicals are also so good
Engagement with college life is very less but the given books makes it very easy to learn and understand
The quality of infrastructure is not of any concern because you don't have to go regularly

Dislikes

Not every sat sun they take classes , sometimes you to college then they told you that you have no class
Books quality is very low , sometimes after opening it 10 times only they tear up
Marks update after 3, 4 months after result

Course Curriculum Overview

The timing between every semester is 6 months but they books for previous semester comes so late that after semester finishes the books will start coming. And same about results of you are preparing for 2md semester some subject result come just before the exams dates

The fee structure is preety low acc to du , if you can't afford you should apply, if you are doing side by side anything then you should apply in du and about SC and st can have scholarship but there's nothing about their responsibility

There are no festivals and not any social group, this is private college so there are no extra curricular activities in the college The books will be provided by the college and will be delivered by your home

Admission

Eligibility is nothing you just have to be pass in every subject in 12th and application fees is 200 . Application dates are in Jan they further extend it to may Exam are in dec and June Dificult level of question paper is low but checking is very hard

Faculty

Faculty members are very good, but sometimes even they don't know about college updates Practical subject teachers are to good And in main ignou center , they vo ordinate with students very well and give their 100%

KMC the life of wonders

Placement Experience:

The placements have been decent throughout the past years, around 40% of the students get placed through on campus placements. From the final year itself , the students are eligible for placements. The highest package went around 18-20 LPA while average package was around 5-6 LPA. While the packages are exceptionally high the companies that came for recruitment were also big firms like airtel, blinkit, zepto, EY, McKinsey, google, meta ,zoho, etc. The top positions that were offered included many interim heads and assisstant positions.

The placements of KIRORI MAL COLLEGE had shown a much outgrowth over the years. The students become eligible for college placements by the final year itself. My views on KMC . A final year student

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course (B.Sc Hons. Mathematics ) is more focused towards descriptive and theoritical method since my course belong to pure mathematics along with that I have statistics in my generic elective (GE) which is more application based. Our course is structured more towards reseach part. Whereas the commerce and economics courses are more relevant to practical industry knowldege. The usual struture is divided into two part in each sem generally known as end and mid sem exam. Whereas there exist weekly and monthly examination which majorly depends upon the teaching style of the faculty.

Reality of a top North campus college - Kirori mal College

Placement Experience:

The placement offered in our college is decent. All the third year and fourth year students are allowed to sit in the placement process.the placement process starts from July and continue till next year's june, Top companies which visited are - D.E, Shaw , Accenture , LEK capibilities network , ZS associates. The Highest package offered was 25 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA Around 70% of the students who participate in the placement drive gets placed.

Kirori mal college a nice college filled with greenery and enthusiasm

Placement Experience:

The placement in this college is good.Many companies come to the college to give placements.the students who are from fifth or sixth semester are eligible for campus selection and can sit in interviews taken by companies.The companies .like Wipro, Amazon, PwC, Deloitte, Accenture, McKinsey & company, Zomato, EY, etc. come to the college.according to previous record companies provide 176 offers.The highest package offered was rupees 23.05 LPA and the average package offered was rrupees 7.25 LPA.Last year 172 students get placements via campus placement.My plan is to go for post graduation after getting this degree.

Ignou: Flexibility And Disappointment

I had also applied in DU for B.Sc. (Hons) Statistics but the cutoffs were very high and only a few top colleges offered that course. DU SOL also did not provide B.Sc. courses at that time, so I finally chose IGNOU. The admission process is fully online through the IGNOU website. You need to sign in, upload your Class 10 and 12 marksheets, Aadhaar or other supporting documents, fill personal details, and pay the course fee. For most courses you just need to pass Class 12, but for some courses there is a percentage requirement or specific subjects needed to study in class 12 like in my case maths. My overall admission experience was okay, but the approval process took a long time. In my case, it took almost 3 months to finally get the confirmation of admission....Read More
