Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was on point. I liked the management part and that's why I chose this course. It had all the subjects which I wanted ranging from Tourism to events. It prepared us well for further academics . Exams are practical based on all the experience you gained in college and for me mathematical subjects are a but difficult for me in exams to solve.
Internships Opportunities
I was working with Finurja company , the internship which I got through entrepreneurship cell of the college. I was content writer and social media manager intern for them for 6 months for 6 months. Used to manage content for them and made posts for their social media. Overall a good opportunity for me.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee is quite affordable. It started from 35-36k for 1st year and every year it increased by 5%. And in 3rd year I paid 40k . So total cost including books every year, it costed me around 42k on an average per year. Scholarships are available for the students based on their merit. I had taken 1 internship theough campus and the stipend was reasonable around 6k per month. But I would say campus employment opportunities are less than the other universities.
Campus Life
Numerous fests are held with Kiran, Joule and managma being the main. They are cultural and management fests. College has various clubs too , like Entrepreneurship cell, Tedx, Scope and social club like NSS. These clubs give a lot of opportunities to gain confidence and network with other college students and alumnus. College has a good infrastructure, library has all the books and journals, An active football and cricket team, a good canteen and classes with air conditioners. Just I would say, sports facilitues are less than other things and campus is small.
Admission
I took admission based on my merit . The application form is available on HSNC website , there was 100/- application fee 3 years back but it might have changed now. Sindhi and Gujarati quotas are the benefits of reservation. Exams are conducted every semester. With internals as pre exams.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio was good and professors gave attention to every student which was a plus. Their teaching methods are basically based on practical approach which is a good way to learn and I have interacted a lot of times and approachability is easy.
