Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose to opt for the BMM course because many writers, directors, actors and ad experts and artists have studied in Khalsa College. The curriculum prepares you for real world applications by not only teaching within the portion but also outside the portion. Various recreational activities take place at the college. Areas for improvement would be to decrease the over importance of giving attention to the attendance and project submission. It's college not school the teachers soften a little and try to give students the freedom of exploring other things too. The frequency and timings if the exams are usually the same as ither colleges. There are 6 semesters carried out in three years which are 2 or 3 hours long.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee increase by1-2 thousand every year. The complete cost of my 3 year course was around 1.5 lakhs. There are no scholarships and financial aids provided by the college. There are no campus employment like job roles or responsibilities which award stipend.

Campus Life

4

The annual festival of the college is 'Nazrana'. There are other fest according to the departments and the field of studies. There variety of books and journals available in the Library. The college has a huge ground. The college is very active in sports and has given many Olympians and athletes to the nation. Archery, hockey, cricket, kho kho, kabbadi, chess, ect. There are the rotary club of the college which are ran by students.

Admission

The eligibility for the course is 60% in your boards. You can find the application form on the official site of the college. The college has a Sikh minority quota and other usual quotas. There are 6 semester exams for 3 years with 2 semesters for every year. The duration of the exams is 2-3 hours.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio in the college is really great. The classes do not have large number is students. So accessibility to teachers is at ease. The faculty is absolute bliss at teaching. Some teachers not only teach within the syllabus but also teach from outside the book. This helps the students to be prepared for their life. You can interact with the teachers whenever you want. You can ask them questions between the lectures or directly approach to them in the staff room if you want.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course. It helped me in my personality building and also I learned new things like- Video and photo editing, handling cameras, communication skills, Acting, Advertisement writing and shooting, and many more. Class strength is good as they allow 25-30 students for one course. Faculties were too supportive and masters of their own fields. They take 2 internals and 1 final exam at the end of the semester which is of 6 months.

No bad remark as such everything is either excellent or at a average but most of the facilities are great . The college maintains a standard and teaches its students not only academics but also a standard of living and facing problems that are occurring or may occur later in life.
