What Students Say

Likes

Our college has good faculty, who teaches well and are friendly.
Also there is a great festival at the college once in a year, called azure, which is very good.
Moreover, there are lots of good people whom care for you.

Dislikes

Sometimes, we feel the college is strict.
When compared with other colleges, number of festes here is less.
Campus placements may vary according to your trade.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college is under Kerala technological University but is autonomous. So the curriculum is very nice and relevant. Students feel easy to cover it than other colleges and there will be study leaves before exams and exams are not so tough.

Internships Opportunities

Several companies such as Yamaha, royal Enfield, Bosch, etc are providing internship in our college. Students can find internships on their own and can participate in it. Faculty are well supportive for students who look for internships.

Placement Experience

Our college provides good placements for eligible students. Number of students placed may vary in some years, but overall the college has good placements. Our placement cell is very effective. Students who are not placed can go to higher studies or can find a job themselves.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tutions fees is 37500 per semester and there are scholarship for students with good ranks in KEAM and 12th boards. Students with ranks above 2000 will get full fee reduction and students who has scored more than 90 percentage in 12th boards will get 5000 as scholarship per sem.

Campus Life

There is a college fest called azure in April and there is a sports fest called arena. There are lots of sports competitions are happening there. Lots of groups and clubs are available there where we can take admission. Classrooms are smart, and college has a lots of labs.

Admission

To get into b.tech students should pass on 12th and has a minimum of 60 percentage for math, chemistry and physics. Application form is available in the website. Students should qualify keam and should have a good rank to get merit seats.

Faculty

We have a good amount of well qualified faculty in our college. Every class with maximum 60 seats have both a mentor and a class teacher. Other subject teachers approach to students is kind and they are always willing to teach us better. Students are free to interact with teachers and can clarify their doubts anytime, since much of our faculty are friendly.

Placement Experience:

Placements cells are supportive in terms of networking with different companies and are readily active for the students competing in getting internships and placements. The college has a tie up with different companies like Infosys , Wipro , Deloitte , IBM , NVIDIA , Deshaw Private Limited etc. Students become eligible from semester 5 onwards for on campus placements. The offers made by these companies are 8 LPA to 9 LPA by deloitte , innfosys , and IBM but the highest package is being offered by Deshaw and NVIDIA that is 60 LPA and 47 LPA. The average package is around 11 LPA and the percentage of students getting placed are above 80%. My plan after getting the degree is to work for an IT Company to get the hands on knowledge about what the current technologies demand and get experienced in that and work further upon it.

From the semester 7 onwards the placement interview will begin.The company's like Infosys,Sutherland etc.But if we are doing externally that is also good.I'm planning on improving my skills first and then going abroad. The average package available would be 4 lakh per annum.

Experience as a first year student at NIT calicut

Placement Experience:

Here we recieve a really high number of offers this year it was around 970, The highest package received this year was 44.42 lpa and average was around 12 lpa Accenture, Bharat electronics limited are few of the top hirers, intel and nvidia also hire from here they are more relevant for ece students The percentage of students getting placed is 81% I will most probably try for a direct placement, I'm not thinking about higher studies(MTECH)after UG but that might change in the future

College Feels Like Home

Placement Experience:

The placement department in our college is great and is always trying to bring good companies to the college. The placement training starts from semester 7. Our top recruiter include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, NocoBD, Delloite, etc. and our mechanical, civil, EEE,ECE all got placements with avg of 4lpa.The highest package where 12 Lpa for SAP.
