CMRIT - Honest Review

The course curriculum that is followed has been chocked out by VTU. There is no deviation whatsoever from the prescribed curriculum of VTU. VTU also keeps making changes every year to make the curriculum better student for today's competitive job environment as well as per the betterment of students. But still the curriculum is a long way from being perfect and there are many improvements that need to be done.

Ample number of companies visit during placement season. The average package is around 3 lakh 50 thousands. Some of the companies that visited the campus are Deloitte Oracle Accenture Impelsys Ellucian Epicor etc. the percentage of students getting placed in 2024 was 50%.

The fee charged is different for comedk and kcet students. It also depends on the branch. For computer science and other superior branches, the fee is estimated around 2,50,000. The fee may be higher for management quota students and lower for kcet students.

The overall experience was pretty average in terms of campus life because the campus is pretty small which majorly effects the social life and social aspects. There are a lot of Technical and non technical clubs which keep you involved throughout the academic calendar which is a positive. The name of annual fests that are conducted are cultural and aura. The library only has technical books related to college curriculum.

After class 12th students need to appear for comedk / kcet examinations to gain admission into the college. All the details related to the application form application fees and application dates and procedure is available on the comedk website. There are no reservations provided as such except if you are a Karnataka state student. Comedk examination is conducted only one time in a year near the JEE main examination.

All the faculty members that are hired by the college have minimum standards that are set by the AICTE and college follows it. Although the overall level of faculty and their teaching methods could be improved significantly. Some faculties are exceptionally well on the other hand other are average or below that on the other hand other are average or below that. But the good faculties keep leaving the college after certain amount of time.
