UNVEILED EXCELLENCE : INSIDE TUMKUR UNIVERSITY

In our college we have wide range of courses they have both NEP scheme and CBCS scheme where there are Courses like Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Zoology, Botany, Physics, Mathematics for BSc and specific clarified courses for MSc like organic, inorganic, physical chemistry etc. With phd also. And the semester end in 6 month.They complete that in 3 to 3.5 month and start the revision. Also we also have OEP which open elective paper we can get choose the subject rather than our course and SEC which is a skill elective course which are basically NSS, NCC, Physical Education, Logical reasoning like this type of course we can choose other than our courses which gives wide range of perspective to our education and we have other courses included in every sem in 1st sem we had Future skill education, in 2nd sem we had Environment studies, in 3rd sem we had Junior skill software development and Financial Analysis and in 4th sem we had Indian Constitution studies.

Only for BCA students and M.com MBA are done with campus selection and internship companies like Infosys, wipro,private banks and other financial aided companies. For BSc students we are done with unpaid internships with the guidance of Professors. Now for BSc also campus selection are held companies like Biotech and other pharma industries and drug testing industries .

The tution fees for life science studies is around 6000 to 7000 per year during Undergraduatatio it might get increased by 100 or 200 rupees every year. And for BCA its almost around 40000 per year. If we come to Masters it's around 60000 per year. And there is separate hostels fo boys and girls which is around 15000-20000 per year with food expenses included. Andcthere is specit scheme introduced for Backward classes and economically backward studied by providing afternoon lunch in just 5 rupee per meal in our college. We can get scholar ships from College that from university and SSP scholarship around 10-12000 per year

The Fest are Srujana which is meant for celebrating students achievement and college progression Ashmithe is another fest which done by college students to showcase talents We also celebrate Kannada Rajyotsava with cultural and other programs And Graduation day Or convocation day is held We have seperate library for arts, commerce, and for science there are more than 5000+ books with digital library is provided with wide space for reading peacefully Projector are installed in every room which provides a good visual education We have Gym and three grounds for Sports with basketball ball ground and lawn Tennis Lawn Or ground and we have got so many national medals and our college host inter college, intra college, inter course sports every year. Every year inter college exhibition seminar are conducted.

Hostel is located near the college only with the 200m distance and itvis well maintained. The food menu changes every day with Beverages and snacks included and we get electricity 24/7 with good water supply also hot water for bathing in morning only. And good filtered water in every floor. There is only 4 sharing room . And it's around 400 student allowed only where it based on first come first admission only. If you didn't get hostel also there are more than 15+ pg near college only you can get that. And if you are from backward class there is nothing BCm hostels and SC /ST hostels also there which are quite away from college.

For BSc the selection is based on percentage and also first come first preference with good percentage. And there is reservation for obc, sc and st and also for ncc students and for physical disabilities person.The application need to be done in UUCMS. For MSc need to get 55 percent in BSc and thers a reservation baed on caste and nss, ncc and and for physical disabilities person. The Counciling will be held to make option for course for three times.

Faculties are wll qualified with phd and we rush to staff rooms if we have doubts and we get answers by them. They help us with every steps they guid us in projects , model making, seminar and all. Even they make our road easy by providing every material even they guide us to participate in every inter college fest for seminars projects and all. And we have guest faculties who are meant to attendvour queries regarding anything in every department and we get resolve our questions regarding studies all the time when we approach them.
