Course Curriculum Overview
I chose to apply for anthropology since it was a unique subject that I have never studied before. It is a mixture or both science and art which intrigued me to study it as my major. There are many career options like anthropologist, archaeologist, sociologist, professor etc A more in depth explanation about the particular chapter of any anthropology book would be nice. The frequency of exams are twice per semester; midterms and finals. And the difficulty is normal
Fees and Financial Aid
Since our college is a government college, the tuition fees are quite less, almost nil. The complete cost of my education varies between 1000-3000rs per year There are many scholarships available for students who are in need of it
Campus Life
There are freshers, college week, farewell and other programs. Freshers are held at the beginning of the academic year, farewells are held at the end of academic year and college week is held before or after the winter break. There are many booms available at the library but they are limited.
Admission
Thr eligibility of my course was around 75% (for the first merit) Application form, fees, dates are all available in the college website Two exams per semester that is midterms and finals. Their difficulty level is normal Admission process was done through online with limited time which could have been increased to few days.
Faculty
The teachers in our dept are 3-4 and the number of students are 45. Since there are less students compared to other dept, the students here can understand and interact with the teachers quite easily. Our HOD and other professors provide us with all the necessary notes that is required for our knowledge and exams. They also make sure that we understand each chapter before moving forward. Professors are always available to help each student incase of any difficulty or doubt.
