- The campus is very beautiful and spacious
- The college fest ICARIA is one of the best fest of Agartala itself
- The faculties are good here except few ones but overall is good
Dislikes
- The campus environment during the fest time is quite heated up due to various clash between students and management need to be more efficient
- The placement here is average which can be improved by approaching more companies and make them come for placement in college campus
- Some faculties make it difficult for student by giving them back in subjects for just 1 or 2 marks
Course Curriculum Overview
so basically I did a diploma in civil Engineering and then I completed my degree in the same branch as I had developed an interest in this field. The timing of the exam is about 2 exams each semester one is for 30 marks and called midterm another one is for 50 marks earlier now changed to 100 which is the endterm or semester exam.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities that I got was in Public welfare Department (PWD) as a supervisor in construction site and there was no stipend for the internship My project was on RCc project for building work and road construction
Placement Experience
after completing 3rd year and entering into the 7th semester of 4th year the student is eligible for placements and should have an average cgpa from the previous semester The companies are - ultratech,Bajaj aliance,shopper stop,asianpaint, Deloitte highest package is around 800000 LPA and the average is about 400000 LPA Currently I m preparing for government jobs
Fees and Financial Aid
so the fee of each semester costs me around 50,000 and my course was for 3 years and I had 6 Semester there and so the total course fee is about 300000 for me but for 4 years BTech course it will be around 400000 and the other branches' fee may vary I had not taken any stipend or scholarship in between my course No I had not taken any placement from the college as there were few companies during our campusing time and selected 2 3 students
Campus Life
The main cultural fest is ICARIA which happens in the end days of February and other than that many other cultural and technical orientation programs are also there Books are easily accessible to the students through their student ID and have provision to get books from the library There are smart classrooms and also restrooms for students and they do have CCTV in the classroom for better security Extracurriculars like sports, music, dance, coding and various other activities are encouraged here
Admission
the eligibility is either the student has to have a diploma in the respective branch or he or she has passed 12 classes with above 75 percent aggregate in the field of commerce,arts, and science The exams in each semester have two parts one exam is the midterm which is of 30 marks for 2 hours duration and the main exam is of 100 marks (earlier it was 50) is for 3 hours called endterm or semester exam and the difficulty of the paper is moderate. Improvements like in the reservation process could be better for general students as the cutoff are high and seats are less for general students as compared to another reservation caste
Faculty
Here the faculty experience is different for different branches. My experience is not that great but also not that bad it's average. The intersection is good but can also vary from student to student and the same goes for faculties.
