- Hostels are very well maintained , BH and ISH are 2 hostels

Dislikes
- infrastructure i didn't like , small classes without AC
- Hostel food is very poor n unhealthy, they r not improving .
- Market is far away from college ..there is just chai shops near college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I want to be SDE, so i choose IT as tread .But the AKTU curriculum is outdated . They always force us to maintain 75% attendance.In these heptic conditions , student can not upskilled in terms if Industry.
Placement Experience
At this time recession is going on, but 5.5 lpa is avg package of JSS. In core branches there is a lack of placements.In CSE/IT 80 -90 % stundets get placed every year. This number can varry. TCS, Infosys are mass recruiter.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fees is 1,20,000 rs , which is pretty decent. if i talk about scholarship , they provides us Fee wavier , J&K , Defence quota seats. Fee wavier seat fees is approx 10000rs i guess. Other Student gets 55000 Scholarship form Gov.
Campus Life
Campus life is not much intresting, Socities are very unproductive except some technical socities like ncs, gdsc,mmil etc. But they provides us opportunity to show our skills . There is also some culturel society like YFAC etc.
Admission
There is two ways to get adddmisstion . 1-> Aktu 2-> Managemnet quoata. Aktu takes Jee main rank for councelling. So, college have no control on Aktu addmision process. They can not change your seat at reporting time
Faculty
There is approx 200 faculty includeing lab assistant . they are well qualified . Some r Ph.d holders also. Every class have 2 mentors + class cordinator also. They guide the students about there attendence , marks .
