Likes

That it is autonomous college and makes it easier to study
It also provide friday, Saturday and sunday off
Teachers are also somewhere good to the students

Dislikes

Small campus of the college and too much density
Maximum of the teachers are thinking like they are the og but they are not
Taking repeat examination like ie that’s so disgusting

Course Curriculum Overview

I have choose this b. e computer engineering course because there is a great value of this in the market and it taking about the exams it's easy as this college is autonomous, they barely fail someone

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many quotas in the college if you can ho through any quota . Your fee can refuce upto 24000 and i think its better but for those who want to come from donations they have to give like 8 lakh for the degree(estimated)

Campus Life

There are events like zypher , tspark which is for sports and many other extracurricular activities are there and many vlubs like rotract and branch wise clubs are there if you want to join you can join them also

Hostel Facilities

There are three hostels of the college , these hostels are not in the college premises they are outside of the college in tmy hostel there is no mess service we have to do it on our own and rest is ok

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

You have to give Maharashtra cet to get admission in this college , you can also apply by giving jee mains there is another quota for the lashmiri migrants and all the documentation can be done in the admin office area

Faculty , as we know everywhere if there exist good ones there are also bad ones there so some faculty are good and supporting others and some of them think like they are the HOD and do disgusting things

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. i got in this college through mht cet and i wanted to go into tcet as it was near to my house and one of the main reason is placement.
