Likes

The campus atmosphere is top class here. Located under the beauty of Western Ghats, this campus is known for its greenery.
The staffs working here are so kind, helpful and also encouraging.
The placements are too good. You can easily get a job after 4 years.

Dislikes

The college is located far from the center of the city, Coimbatore
Mobile data network is quite slow here, but top speed is wifi is provied for free inside the campus
Few of the buildings are old here. Maybe renovated in future.

The curriculum is last updated on 2019. It has latest information about every recent technologies. End semester exams are conducted every semester and one internal exam is conducted too. They are easy to score if you have good knowledge about the topics discussed in the class

Campus Placements starts at your third year. Top MNCs like Google, TCS, Wipro visit here. Almost 90 percentage of students are placed. Average salary pack for IT domain is 6Lpa and Core domain is 9Lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has a comprehensive fee structure that encompasses tuition, service fees, and other compulsory charges. Tution fees for my course cost 4,00,000 INR per annum. Scholarships are also provied based on AEEE - Amrita entrance exam scores

Campus Life

Anokha- an annual tech fest happens here every april. Other college students can also participate in it. There is a very big library here with tons of books and e-books too. Sports are entertained here with proper coaches for each sport. The are various clubs runned by students like Team Media(Photography), Natya(Dance), Raaga(Singing) etc

Hostel Facilities

The hostel alloted for me is a 4 person per room. It has good wifi facility. Paid laundry also done here. The food prepared here is very hygienic and healthy. It menu consists even andhra, kerala, north indian food too.

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Admission

The college intakes students based on their JEE Mains score and majority by AEEE Exam. This exam also provides you scholarships based on your rank secured. The portions for this exam is same as JEE. This exam takes place every may month

Faculty

The teachers present here are very well experienced and skilled as well. They are very polite to the students. A seperate class mentor is assigned for every set for 30 students throughout the four years.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement Experience:

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

I applied for vit, snu, cuet examination. A decent university

I applied to many colleges like Thapar College, Manipal College, VIT, and LPU and others. I got selected from many colleges, but I chose this college because of its ranking as it ranked 4th best university and 1st in the best private university. This was the only reason for the selection. Now it is also the 7th best university in india and 2nd in private universities. I only got rejected from the Manipal College of Engineering, and they didn't mention the reason for the rejection, but I assume the entrance exam was not so good for me. I rejected other colleges because I find Amrita University better than others. There are many ways to get admission, like from JEE mains or advanced and Amrita's own exam, AEEE.
