Likes
- The infrastructure of the college is very good and royal. The main building looks like palace.
- The college faculty is well educated, most of professor is holding p.hd degrees and they are well trained.
- College provide us gym facility at free of cost, also we have table tennis room for practice.
Dislikes
- The hostel culture is not good, we heard some ragging news in hostel. Also mess food is not so good.
- The college union president is not selected by voting , the ruling government make their college president without conduct voting .
Course Curriculum Overview
Our college provide us good laboratory and modern equipments, our teacher show us all the practicals in projectors to visualize it. Our department has lack of computers, the ratio is too low for us it's 7 computers for 32 students. The timing of exam is too fast, it's too hard to cover total syllabus
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college is full government college so the tuition fee and exam fee is low than other colleges. The total exam fee in a year is 1600 and the admission fee is around 2400 in a year. We got svmcm scholarship and oasis scholarship.
Campus Life
All the cultural events is held in our college like an example rabindra jayanti, aagomoni utsav(before durga puja), college fest, basanta utsav, saraswati puja. The central Library give us library card for avail all the books and all departments have personal library dedicated to the own subject. Many sport events organized like table tennis, football, cricket, volleyball, badminton, kabadi etc.
Admission
We have to passed 12 from any recognize board. The application process is online and application fee is taken after admission so it's became student friendly. The reservation facility is followed by government rules.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio in our department is below average, we have 8 professors for 24 active students, I think it's quite impressive than local colleges. Our teacher divided ourselves to mentor us and encourage us.
