Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is according to AICTE and contains all the basic as well as important topics that are needed to be taught. Besides that we have opportunities to develop our personality, several activities including sports and cultural events are held from time to time so that we can show our talent.

Placement Experience

The placements are good with certain big companies coming to the college. The placements of biotechnology are very good.

College Events

At the starting of the first year 21 days induction program was held to i Encourage and motivate the students. Which was followed by a number of events including Hindi was world Diabetes day, independence day, Republic day, Fresher's party, teacher's day. We also celebrated Diwali in our hostel.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Rs. 72,800 per annum is the fees of the college and we have to pay Rs. 11,000 per annum for the girl's hostel. For food, we have to pay Rs. 8,500 for three months. Other expenses include issuing books from the library etc. And general things one keeps in the hostel.

Fees and Financial Aid

We have a scholarship in our college where everyone with an income less than Rs. 2,00,000 per annum can apply.

Campus Life

The campus life is fantastic. We are always involved in certain things like different programs and all. Classes are regularly held. It motivates physically handicapped students and they, on the other hand, motivate us. Labs are good especially the Biotechnology department.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very interactive and also guide us about the semester's exams regarding books and materials.

Admission

First of all, we have to fill the form which comes in January on the site of AKTU, the exam name is UPSEE, after that we have to qualify the entrance exam which is held in April. The result comes in June. The counseling is started in July followed by the first sem in August. There are total 8 semesters.

Faculty

The faculty is very good, regular classes and labs are taken, doubts are been cleared. They are friendly, supportive and motivating. They guide us about what books to study, notes, what material to read. Assignments are given, tests are taken. They provide us with every possible help.

Placement Experience:

Government organizations like Cisr and Syneos Health are major conglomerate where we are placed. Still with lesser students we are not places that high and it's a shame because such a great university but still placements are in a way less as other branches have. 4-5 lakhs is what offered to Biotechnology students of IILM.

THE GCET DIARIES

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd and 4th year are eligible for placements. More than 150 companies offered 750+ Jobs. Almost 70% of the students in my branch has been placed. Highest package offered was 9PLA and the lowest was 3LPA. The top recruiting companies were TCS, Infosys, PTC, Cleartrip, Jinko Contraction, GENX Consultancy Services, Airtel, CIty Union Bank, Emerson, Asix Bank and many more. Some of the students have taken the placement and some of them were invited to internship from 20k stipend to 40k stipend. If the student doesn't get college placement, he need to apply off campus for jobs. I will try to join a good job or start my own startup idea.

The Placement percentage is more than 50% in our college as there are almost 2000+ freshers in our college in my batch there is 72 students . the placement of college is good because mid of 7th semester company visit in a campus and many comapnies are come in college like maruti suzuki, TATA, HERO motors,schlumberger ,crompton,tricolite ,cummins ,etc 40-50 company visit in campus and the heighest package is 12lpa and lowest is 3.6 lpa and the student have 60% in average of all 6 semester and 90% student have placed after the degree my plan is a good rank in GATE and masters from IIT colleges

The eligibility criteria for this college is that minimum 75% in both class 10th and 12th as well as clearing the cut off of CUET exam . If you are from OBC,SC/ST category you should have your caste certificate of after 1 April in which year you are applying as well as if your family income is low you should have income certificate and if your father is majdoor you should have e-Shram card . If you father is farmer you should have some documents which states the amount of land your father own exactly which documents are required I don't know .
