Chandigarh University - Really worth it?

Academics is very good in my 1st sem I have subjects like python ,autocad ,semiconductors ,c language, Disruptive technology, mathematics communication skills and in second semester I have subjects like mathematics, c++ , workshop technology, engineering physics etc. so there are two mid sem exams and one end sem exam together with practicals not that much difficult but the student who have difficulty in learning english understanding english can feel difficulty there

I don't know much about placements but I can tell you as per behalf of my brother who is in final year of btech cse he says that there is as per expected placements there is only a average package of 4lacs in BTech because there is a large amount of students are there so companies are limited and students are more so competition is real

So I take admission in Chandigarh University in 2023 and I am paying 1 lakh 20 thousand per semester as only academics fees for btech cse branch and there is an increment of fees every year by 10k but I have to pay the amount 1 lakh 20 and this increment is for freshers who are admitted in 2024 so they will pay 1.20lacs + 10% for exam my seniors who are in 4th year they are paying 90k approx per semester and there is a 2.5k examination fee per semester and one time 2.5k security fee for whole degree and there is scholarship on basis of Jee mains and CUET (university exam) so I personally scored 70%ile in jee so there is low scholarship on this percentile so I decided to give cuet exam which cost me 1k rs and it is completely online in nature , i scored 84 marks and get the 50% scholarship, I give this exam totally with the help of chatgpt and ai tools.

In term of campus this university deserves 4.5stars ..out of 5 such a beautiful campus life very eye catching there are too many cafeteria and all varieties of food like North South Indian there are many franchises like dominos etc. and regular fests and events are there like tashan nites and many more , many celebrities are coming like in every month or in two months so there is a lot of enjoyment in fests parties , Classroom are air conditioned ,labs too I am not that much indulge in sports so I have no idea about this Social internship is there I am doing in last June and there is ncc, gd is also there

After getting such a low score in cbse board and jee mains, i have only one choice that is private university, my brother is already there so I prefer to come here , although my brother is not willing because cu doesn't give a well ROI but there no other choice for me so I decided bad over worse ... Let's talk about Eligibility criteria= there is a eligibility criteria that you are 60% in board ( telling for btech cse only) that's it

Faculty members are very nice very humble in nature, each class have 2 CR from students and 1 mentor from teacher , mentors are very co operative very educated and friendly in nature , even my hod is very good, teachers are deep into giving the knowledge they have , infrastructure is very good , labs are very nice too

As I am not a hosteller so I have no idea about night life of campus , i am day scholar and night life as a day scholar is very nice because tricity chandigarh is only 18kms far from that university so I enjoyed a lot
