Course Curriculum Overview
All the tech courses in DTU are pretty much same as they target your development for placements. All the tech courses are 50-60% same and rest 50-40% will be the specialisation that course offers. There are 2 semester in 1 year each semester consists 2 exams (Mid sem and End sem) making it 4 exam in an year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee for 1 year is around 2.50L , which includes everything except the hostels. Multiple scholarships are also offered to the EWS,SC/ST students which can be checked on the main website. Campus employment is pretty decent around 80% students got placed and internship opportunities may vary depending on the market situation
Campus Life
3 annual fests take place in February mid i.e Engifest, Yuvaan, techfest and engifest is the biggest college fest in north India and 2nd largest fest in India after IIT Bombay's MoodIndigo. Classrooms are well equipped with projectors and boards along with centralized cooling facilities. Each class can accommodate around 85 students. Multiple sports facilities are available like basketball, kabaddi, tennis, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, football, and cricket. There are multiple societies Led by student bodies that deal with multiple areas like finance, racing, drones, submarines, etc....
Admission
To be eligibly for DTU you need minimum 65% in class 12th and for applying for an admission you need to get a good rank (under 30k) for a good branch in JEE mains followed by registering yourself in JAC counselling. Cutoff for SC/ST, EWS etc students is pretty low and can get a good branch if have Delhi quota.
Faculty
Faculty is pretty experienced and teaching techniques may vary from teacher to teacher but it will surely not be a waste of time. Keeping up with the attendance and regular class performance would help in getting good marks for internals.
