Overall the college is very good as it gives lots of facilities but the fees is too high.
Course Curriculum Overview
The computer engineering course is very demanding nowadays as there are lots of demand for programmers and the country is developing in digital ways. our country is becoming digital. So their lots of jobs waiting after doing this degree course. Total 6 exams have to be given after direct second year.
Placement Experience
The placement is good as compared to some colleges but the placement is only given to the students who are smart and deserving and should also have some good skills and talent.
College Events
Our college celebrates a very big event called Tauranga in which some celebrities also come to enjoy with us. The Tauranga festival is so much popular in Mumbai. Students from different colleges also come to watch the event. The event is very lit as it has live concerts and all.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees of 1 year are 1 lakh 50 thousand. After every year there is an increment in fees amount by 5-10 thousand. The fees don't include study material and neither stationary kit. Also, the exam fees of 600 are there per semester. Also, the industrial visit has some amount of cost depends on the company.
Fees and Financial Aid
I applied for Jain minority scholarship in which the students get 25000 cashback per year in which the annual income of student's family should be less than 6 lakh.
Campus Life
There were many competitions like a sports event, quiz competition, coding competition, etc.there is also a project competition called Technofest in which all the students make the group of 4 people and make the microproject in which the external professors visit the college and do the inspection.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors were too helpful and also they gave some advice that how to prepare for the exam and study time table and also for submissions.
Admission
I did a diploma in computer engineering and after that, I applied for a direct second-year degree in computer engineering in Thakur college of degree. The eligibility for admission in this college was my 3rd year's diploma aggregate result of both semesters.
Faculty
The teachers are not too good but helpful. Some teachers are strict but as in knowledge, they are very smart and intelligent. Faculty staff is very hard working and dedicated to their work. They also help in micro and mini projects. Also, they take extra lectures on weekends.
