Likes

The greeny environment with lots of trees and freshness eveywhere.Though it is located in city centre we can still have fresh oxygen due to its trees
It is located in city centre so that many people cant find it difficult to travel here.Admission process is also very simple in this experienced university.
Any college ,the teaching staff is the most important thing .My university has the best available teachers with a very open mindset supporting each and everyone.There is no favorism for any student so every student can be what they are.

Dislikes

The campus space is very less. Unlike big universities our university is very small but all the necesaary things are available the only thing matters is the size
Proper cricket ground is not available ,the boundaries in our ground are too small to play cricket in our age .
During sports tournaments cricket is not given much priority as only 1 over matches are being held with so many teams being registered

Course Curriculum Overview

As my course is computer science coding is the most important thing in this subject .The teachers are really talented but I find them teaching a lot of theory instead of problem solving skills. Industry based teaching would be best according to me.Like the world works on supply and demand,our mentors need to constantly guide us with the trends in IT industries and required skills. By doing this we may not find difficulty after our graduation

The campus placements according to me us quite normal in our university. Most of the commerce and management students are placed well.The talk was last year the highest package was given to a commerce student which is of 15lpa immediately after his bcom

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is really reasonable ranging from 50000 to 300000 for some management ,commerce and science courses. We also have pg centre in our university. The students who scores well can avail scholarships,the students whose financial situation is not as good will get scholarship and additionally students who are poor ,our university started a scheme named mid day meals where the meals is just available for 5 rps

Campus Life

Very excellent campus life .They help us to interact with society through outreach programs . Often st Joseph's students will participate in various awareness programs and campaigns .Our football team is the no.1 team in whole bangalore in university level

Admission

They saw my 12th marks and conducted one formal interview. I didn't find much difficulty in getting a seat here ,but for some management courses the demand is too high so in order get seat we need to score well or pay donations.There are seats available in the name of sports quota also which is useful for many young sports aspirants

Faculty

The faculty to teacher ratio is really nice in my university. As I said earlier everytime the teachers are available to interact with students and share their insights. Majority of them are PhD holders so they are well experienced in their own subjects .

Amazing Ongoing Journey in SJU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspects is that microbiology is a well developing scope of science in the world. We know how important this subject was when Covid had come to the world. It is related to this subject and find it's relevance everywhere. The course curriculum had started with basics of microbiology and microbial techniques later getting deeper into the subject. The syllabus is set by our college faculties and department head and it is very relevant for future studies. Improvement is needed in teaching methods. Otherwise it's a good place and subject. We get enough time to prepare and write the exams. The papers are usually not difficult if you've prepared we'll. It is on a moderate level.
