Course Curriculum Overview
Some courses are irrelevant such as cultural education. I believe that there should be some amount of tech involved in the curriculum. the difficulty of the exams is actually high compared to what is taught in class. the questions asked are mostly based on real-life applications.
Internships Opportunities
companies such as cisco and hcl provides both training and internships . we are allowed for off campus internships as well and ODs are provides to students . the stipend is between 5k-30k per month not sure for highest.
Placement Experience
students are eligible to sit in placements after the 6th semester and an app is provided for students to apply to their desired company. around 300+ companies visit our campus. the top recruiters are Google, Microsoft etc. core companies such as BHEL, L&T, siemens, bosch, Mercedes, Yamaha also recruit.
Fees and Financial Aid
scholarships are based on their performance in the entrance examination. it is basically 5 categories, fees increased in ascending order of category. 1.25lakh, c2lakh,cat3; 2.75, 4 ;3lakh, 3.5lakhs. hostel fees are quite expensive:113000 including mess.
Campus Life
Overall experience is quite good covered with greenery in a 400+acre campus. It has very good sports facilities, 2 football grounds, 1 cricket ground, 2-3 basketball courts, tennis and an international level swimming pool. there are various clubs, both tech and extracurricular. famous once are Tedx, toastmasters, nivesha, Debate Club, mun etc.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are not as good as I expected. the network provided is very bad. And meals are pathetic, the food doesn't contain enough fibre, proteins etc. the oil is reused and smells very bad. insects were found but no action was taken against it.
Admission
Need around 65 per cent in boards and around 80 percentile in aeee required to get admission into good courses. the entrance exam in not difficult enough and admission here is not much of a challenge. it is obvious, that there is a reservation of OBC, sc, st students including PWBD students.
Faculty
At Amrita Vishwa Vidhyapeetham the faculty-student ratio fosters personalized attention. faculty members hold impressive credentials, often engaging in research to enrich teaching.
