Review of IIIT Ranchi

The course structure is upto date and give's a more practical perspective towards the current technical scenario. The content of course is completely accurate for a student if he wishes to opt for research in any of the technical field. Talking about the exams we have mid sems after 1.5 months and endsems after 3.5 months in spring sem.

For internship companies come to campus for interviews. If student is interested in research he/she can work with the faculty as a research intern. Various research opportunity are provided by faculty members in different fields, which a student can add in their resume. Project include integration of Machine learning system, making of optical chips, making of antenna's etc.

Highest package offered was 83.38 LPA. Average package was 16.67 LPA On campus placements are offered by the college Google, Atlassian, Goldmansachs, LogicFruit, MPL, Intuit and a lot more companies where our alumni are working. As year's are passing the number of recruitment is increasing exponentially Student's who dont opt for placement's usually apply for master as their secondary plan

Currently residing in Khelgaon (temp campus) and have our academic building in BSNL(temp). Permanent campus is under construction so for the time being we use bus to travel to academic building from campus . We have our Cultural fest emphemere, Tech fest, Hackathons, Sports fest Concour. We have different societies for developement of freshers. Technical society : House of Geeks Consist of Cyber security, Blockchain, Electronics, IOT, Software dev, App dev, ML and AI wings. and also non technical wings include activities like singing(SAAZ club), dance, art, etc.

We reside in Hostel's, but rather than room's we have flat based hostel. Every flat has 3 rooms with 2 student in each room. Personal washroom's, balcony, bed, table and chair are provided, also every flat has its own kitchen. Any kind of electrical or mechanical error in flats has to be reported and it would be fixed in 1-2 days. Hostel is compulsary for students. Mess facilities are also provided. A dedicated committee is also assigned for mess which consist of a faculty member and students. Food quality is between average and good, usually breakfast and snack are really good.

To get admission in IIIT Ranchi you have to clear Jee main Get a rank and confirm your seat through josaa councelling After the councelling if you get a seat in IIIT Ranchi, you have to come for document verification on the specified date. Certain undertaking's, your grade sheet of 12th and 10th, medical certificates etc have to be submitted. A rank below 40,000 can get you ECE in this college for general category.

All professor's and assistant professor's hold PhD degree's. Every faculty is higly educated and have years of experience. Also the supportive and understandable nature of faculty towards the students is a plus point. Professors give chance to student by including them in research paper's and journals, they teach the concept and assign certain work to the interested students. They are always free to assist any student in their academic fields.
