Some college professors has very talented.
Lab set-up for the department wise is high end PC.

Dislikes

I didn't like college infrastructure same room for everywhere.
I don't satisfied with college amenities. Any room doesn't have with air conditioning.

Course Curriculum Overview

College curriculum has been set the University of Mumbai. Some subjects have very good syllabus for help in the future but I think some subjects aren't needed in our professional journey. I recommend to the University please change the subject and update the syllabus. The exams are easy to pass.

College provide some training type internship till today's date college does not provide any paid internship. College don't allow for 6 months full time internship s. You can take only one month full time internship.

Placement Experience

Final year students will be eligible for the placement because college don't allow to join full time job or full time internship in college days. This is the main drawback of this college. Average package is 3 lpa. Min is 2.5 and max is 9 lpa. Doesn't have any specific criteria for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees has 1,21,000 per year and they are providing the scholarship for which students became to government cap process those students eligible for post matric scholarship. Only category students can take the benifits of this scholarship.

Campus Life

Annually take the main festival of the college is zypar. With all sports and and all functions for 5 days. Best collection of books in library for us. Only a projector is provided in classrooms. Doesn't have specific ground for specific sports single ground for all sports. Yes, you can get permission from the principal and run any group.

Admission

My admission has come through a direct second-year scheme. So you need to have at least 75% to be eligible for admission in computer engineering and other branches. You can gets benefit with the reservation category in college fees.

Some of the College faculty has done the PHD and they are very talented and teaching is very understandable for all students. If you have any type of dout then they are always available for you to help. And I like that

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

my college is in rural division so i liked the nature and environment of the college most and the college is have rural position and college have bus facility so all the student from poor family are is admitted in this college
my college have bus facility for the students
college have good campus in rural area and the college is good

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

LTCE in my opinion

The admission process at LTCE is well organized and structured and follows the AICTE norms and take admission based on entrace exam like MHT-CET and JEE(mains) . We can apply and find forms to official mhtcet portal and fees is around 1000 , which is exam fee and they also gives all reservation benefits to all type of students like obc/sc/st/vjnt/pwd etc. The mhtcet exam is average level of exam is based on 11 and 12 grade ....Read More

All about LTCE (lokmanya tilak college engineering).

Admission is taken though the online maharashtra web portal on the basis of the 12th percentage and percentile secured in the entrance exam. JEE and MHTCET bot Entrance exams are considered. Direct admission is also taken in which no scholarship is provided. Frequent exams are held which makes schedule busy for students. Internal assesments are easy but the final university exams are difficult. I personally feel that the elegibility criterea for engineering i.e more than 45% in PCM in 12th should be increased so the the entrance cuttoff dosen't reaches that high i.e above 90 for general category....Read More
