Course Curriculum Overview

4

Agriculture is very vast subject which is itself influencing. But I must say, GLA my department and faculties give their best to provide practical and theoretical knowledge to the students. In agriculture we have 10 subjects for written and practical exams. So I hope the examination schedule shall not be in both shifts in a day

Internships Opportunities

3.5

At the time of internship, they recommended us companies which provides internship plus they also helped those students to get internship who were unable to do it by themselves. So overall my experience with intership is good.

Placement Experience

2.5

Campus placement is also okay. They brings company for respective branches, if now students are not getting placed it's their performance right. But one thing should be change that is if someone is placed, they should be allowed to sit in other companies drive which are providing higher package. Don't block students from getting better opportunities please.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is okay as they also accept DRCC students, as DRCC provide loans to students having Bihar domicile. But they should provide some scholarship on the basis of students' intermediate percentage.

Campus Life

2.5

Frequency of events in a year is very less. There should be more that 1 event in a year. It will helpful in refreshing and change of environment. Otherwise all infrastructure and clubs involvement are good.

Admission

GLA should start taking entrance test for admission, so the students get filtered. And then frequency of backlogs also decrease. Some students from state boards find it difficult to study in English which lead them with backlogs.

Faculty

4

As agriculture course started in 2019 only in GLA but still there's sufficient number of faculties available in our department which is like 3 faculties for every 15 students. Faculties having good knowledge and delivery also they're of very welcoming and helping nature

Interview Experience

3

Yes, there was personal interview occurred for admission. But there should be more level of entrance and interview. But before that, there must be percentage criteria for admission for every courses, it will help to easily get good students with good academics.

Other Applied Colleges

Approx 30% students get their jobs in different sectors and many more in government jobs like ADO NABARD HDO and all other willingly give ICAR JRF or CUET PG for their masters degree .My plan is to get a government job as an officer level so that I can serve through holding power

Placement Experience:

The placements for the B.Sc Agriculture course at Invertis University are growing but may not be very high compared to technical courses. Some companies visit the campus for agriculture-related roles such as agri-input companies, seed companies, fertilizer companies, and marketing positions. Students with good communication and technical knowledge usually get good opportunities. However, not every student may get a direct campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Students get placed in starting of 4th year that is 7th semester. The companies that often visit are pradhan co.pvt.ltd, seed companies and drone companies also companies like Nestle and britannia visit for placements. Highest ctc in 2025 was 19LPA and the avg was 7.5 LPA these data are also available on nirf site. Nearly 30% students get placed because remaining prefer higher studies over placement, those who are financially weak consider placement. My plans are different, I'm preparing for CAT and want to persue mba in agribusiness management from iim ahmedabad or iim lucknow.
