I chose BCom Honors and am pursuing it from a distance learning method. The real reason behind this is that my ambition is to pursue my diploma in elementary schooling in full-time method. And because of no hassle of maintaining attendance, I'm free to do my full-time course on weekdays and my bcom on weekends.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities

With the new education policy, we're getting internships or on-field training in our fourth year of course. The companies included are Google, Microsoft, Apple, IFSO, etc. The average package is 4.5 lacs and may go upto 7 lacs.

Placement Experience

Since the new education policy has been opted by colleges, now the courses are 4 years that include 1 year extra providing on-field training or internship. But I'm not planning or desiring any placement because my regular courses are going to provide even better.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Overall Fees for doing BCom Honors from DU SOL may vary depending on the time of attempts you're taking to complete a particular subject or semester, as you have to pay the amount of 200 for repeating a particular subject. On average, the fees for the overall course lie between 35000 to 40000 true to my knowledge.

Campus Life

There's nothing like fests or annual events. We are there just to get our degrees with no hassle of maintaining attendance or attending classes. The college life of regular and distance students is very much different. The library is good.

Admission

Since I have opted distance education method, here there's no need to go for any hassle like taking an entrance exam or waiting for cut-offs or competition. You just need to only pass your metric exams with recognized board. That's all you need.

Faculty

Since the enrollment of students in distance education is very high. Every subject is being taught twice but still not enough. The classes take place every Sunday except for exam days. If you're willing to complete your syllabus you can definitely clear your doubts with teachers.

A quick view on Dyal Singh College Morning, DU

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was preparing for CA also that's why I opted for Bcom, rest no other factors. But the curriculum of the college was best. They covered our whole syllabus on time. Everything was just perfect. There's semester system at my time. Every year we have 2 semester exams and you can clear the exam if you have studied everything your teacher taught. Examination level was moderate only.

The curriculum itself is offered under delhi University is the biggest pro of this college I liked the aspect that it tries to capture the essence of holistic development by introducing skill enhancement courses, value addition courses and ability enhancement courses It also facilitates dynamic learning experience by offering the courses from different departments such as general electives I still believe that there is a space for improvement in the applicability of this course in the real world as the world is growing at a fast paced and we need to prepare ourselves with everything we can Intership opportunities, live projects of certain subjects , increased field trips and introduction of ai courses Frequency is good ,1 per semester which helps students to take on different ventures also and the difficulty level is mixed depending upon the subject but ranges from moderately easy to difficult

I would say genuine

Course Curriculum Overview:

There's no such specific aspect to be very honest, I was clear since my 12th standard only that I'll be doing BCom hons in my undergraduation. The core subjects provides you valuable knowledge for sure but there's nothing to learn from AEC, SEC and VAC subjects (they are useless). I think teachers should start focusing more and like in my 3rd semester, there are 2 teachers for each of my core subject, this should be eliminated because it creates confusion among students. Exams usually ends in 1 month and mostly my exams were in the morning shift which is 9:30-12:30 but it gets difficult during winters to reach to college on time and sometimes you have to wait too for 20-30 minutes outside for the gate to open.

I chose the bcom course because of its well structured curriculum that covers fundamental aspects of commerce, including accounting, finance, taxation and business law. Exams are conducted in every 3 months of semester. Exams paper are moderate to hard not so easy.

Take admission if you wanna graduate just to get a degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think there's too much unnecessary subjects given in the name of VAC and SEC and AEC becuae the options are completely irrelevant to the course. I'm a bcom student why will I study political science or hindi. If it's important to have these many subjects then give us subjects which are relevant to our course. There's mandatory EVS subject too and I think I have learned all that thing already in school so there's no need to study that.

I applied for cuet to enter a regular college but unfortunately I didn't score well and didn't get any regular college which provide BMS as their course but in sol you do not have to apply to cuet you are selected on the basis of your 12th marks and I scored good in 12th so I got enrolled in dusol.
