Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course's practical focus and industry relevance drew me in. It preps well for real-world applications as well as further studies. To improve, more interdisciplinary modules and experiential learning could be added. The assessments are done on a regular basis which keeps you on your toes and a lot of such assessments are open book that challenges you to out of the box thinking for the application of the theories and concepts learning

Placement Experience

4

The 4th sem students are eligible for placements. A lot of companies visit the campus for placement major companies include - AMUL, ITC, P&G, Cargill, Yes Bank, etc. Each year the company manages to place all students and a lot of the alumni are placed well in the industry. The alumni network of IRMA is amazing support system across the career of each individual. The highest package during the 2013 placement was 30 Lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

Staying on campus is mandatory at IRMA and the fee includes hostel charges as well. At the time of my course the total fee was approx. 9 Lakhs, however the mess is run by the student body and the charges are seperate which are to be paid at end of each month. At the time of internship and fieldwork, the charges for stay and travel are to be borne separately. However, compared to other MBA colleges the fees and charges are reasonable.

Campus Life

4

The college has amazing infrastructure and various clubs which can be joined by the student as per their interest. There are entrepreneurship incubation centres as well. Students are encouraged to participate in various competitions at the intra as well as inter-college level. Various fest are organized by the student bodies including alumni meets.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel are well made and has single occupancy rooms only. Each floor has 8 rooms and a common room where the studens can gather and brainstorm idea or have a relaxing evening. All students are requried to stay at hostel only. The meal menu is decide by student body and the qulality is superb. Each room is equiped with a bed, matress, studying desk, book shelf, 2 cupobaord and a sofa. There is a small balcony attached to each room

Admission

In 2011 during the time of my admissions, IRMA used to conduct its own entrance exams, however, currently, CAT scores are used for the admissions. In case you are shortlisted a test will be taken during your campus visit for GDPI. The admission open every year along with other b-schools.

Faculty

4

The faculty-to-student ratio at IRMA is commendable. With smaller class sizes, students recived individualized attention, facilitating better understanding and engagement with course material. Moreover, the faculty's credentials are extremely impressive, all faculty are experts of their fields. Inetractive with professors is encouraged both inside and outside the classroom. Open door polcieis enable students to seek guidance. Addtionally tjhe faculty meembers are supportive and encouraging.

Interview Experience

5

Post CAT once you visit the campus a small test on social awareness is conudtced and GDPI round is also there . The GD is done in group of 10 students and 1 faculty member. The PI round is with 3-4 faculties.
