- The environment is friendly, our college takes the initiative to plant trees every week
- The laboratories are very well maintained
- Libraries are big and spacious and are filled with all sorts of books
Dislikes
- The faculty members are not good and majority of them are not aware of the subject
- Most of the time our college is under construction either new rooms are being built every now and then or staffrooms are being modified
- Our college doesn't have any proper seminar halls or rooms to conduct functions
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum has really enhanced my interest in the depths of the topic and it teaches us how to have a great knowledge about medicines. The teaching methods should be improved by implementing practical classes and live handling of generic drugs . At the preliminary level it could have started with interactive sessions. The usual timing of exam in 1 hr with a moderate difficulty level.
Placement Experience
From the 8th semester onwards students are eligible for placement . Companies such as iqvia, TCS, Cipla, Wipro etc visited. The highest package offered was in the current year 2024 as 20 lpa. About 80% of the students got placements. However after getting the degree I have plans to attempt the upsc drug inspector ecam and the gpat exam to pursue masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee is remaining the same till now and the cost of full course is 600000. There are several scholarships which are available for students those who want to avail them however there are specific guidelines for it.
Campus Life
Our college does have several extra curricular activities including fests, sports etc . There are no facilities in our classrooms just a basic setup and projector. However the sports club is really good with helpful seniors
Admission
The eligibility of the course includes for everyone who have qualified higher secondary with a minimum percentage of 50. The application form can be found in the website with other details. However I took the admission through my cut off in the entrance exam so details were provided to me via government site. Exams are held frequently with moderate level difficulty
Faculty
Most of the faculty are not helpful enough. The B. Pharm batch has in total 120 students which are divided into 2 divisions. Approximately everyday about 45 to 48 students are present. Every period is alloted to a specific teacher. However some teachers are there who really have a good grasp over the subject however some don't even know what they are teaching. Those teachers teach by just reading out of the pre made presentations . It is really easy to approach the faculty of our college and interactions are really fun
