Some teachers here at faculty of technology, delhi university are highly qualified while some even dont know the basics of teaching
It is located in the north campus in the science block as a temporary campus . Although yet another building is veing constructed nearby

Course curriculum is quite good as it is based on new education policy in which we will be studying 7 subjects in one sem.. Just like other colleges of du. Curriculum emphasis on learning new skills and giving choices to the students which skill they want to learn.. Also, the exams are conducted 4 times a year consisting of two semester exams and two midsem...

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 216000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total one year fees of the college is 216000 however a fee concession of 50% and 90% is applicable if someone has an itr copy of annual family income <400000 and <800000 respectively. Also there are no hostels yet. So students have to manage their expenses according to pgs and flats available nearby

Campus Life

Infrastructure of the department is quite good . However not having any club or society is a benchmark. But there is a lot of involvement in sports and extracurricular activities.. The central science library also have almost all kind of stuff related to science and technology which is also located in the science block

Admission

Admission process was purely based on the jee mains exam. A seperate counselling was conducted by delhi university for its btech programme in which you have to apply seperately apart from josaa in order to get admitted here whose application fees is something around 1500 . In general category, cutoff was something like for cse: 95 percentile ; for ece : 91 percentile ; for ee: 80 percentile

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is quite good that is around 1:25 which keeps a surrounding of activeness in the class. While all the faculty members are qualified but all the members are quite approachable. Some of them are quite good in teaching .

For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Placement Experience:

Admission and carrier development cell is there in the college and provides good support but for average packages but for top packages only on your own self you have to grab them. One campus packages are between 3 lakhs 5 lakhs up to 10,20 lacs and highest once even up to 64 lakhs but off campus goes up to crore.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.
