Faculties are very supportive if u show your interest in studies then they will always help you
It has best infrastructure among all IPUs college
Campus is very neat and clean and cleaning of classes and park is done on regular basis

Dislikes

Its campus size is not so big so it is also a bad thing
Some teachers are very strict, if u don't give Assignment on time then they cut marks

Course Curriculum Overview

This college has introduced some new courses in Btech like Comp science and technology, cyber security which are not available in other colleges mostly. And these courses are very good for the future so it's very useful

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placement at the end of 3rd year or maybe the start of 4th year, many popular companies like TCS, INFOSYS, AIRTEL, etc. came for placement. If you don't want to appear in placement then you may continue for a master's degree

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for btech first year is 144000, so it is not so much but also not so little. So for students who can't afford fees, the college provides scholarships basically from the Delhi govt. that comes after every year but die to covid it was not coming but from this year it has now continued. Fee wave depends upon the category in which you fall.

Campus Life

The college provides various types of seminars in which popular and successful people from each field come and share ideas that encourage students for a better future. A cultural fest named UTKARSH is held every year in which there are food stalls and various competitions dance DJ night took place.

Admission

To get admission you have to clear jee mains exam which is a basic criterion for all to get admission. Your jee rank should not be less than 2.5 lac for inside Delhi candidates for the CST branch and under 1 lac for outside Delhi candidates. As it comes under GGSIPU and it has 85% seats reseved for delhi candidates and the remaining 15% for outside delhi

Look all teachers are highly qualified and many of them have done PHD. but there are some teachers who have done only masters and joined college . Experienced teacher taught really well but freshly teacher does not able to interact with student easily.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

A decent college

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. Students get hired, obviously, and they get a decent package. Highest package from our college is 52 LPA. Average package is 7-8 LPA. Highest package off campus is 1.2 Cr. Per annum.

Walking you through ADGIPS

I applied to IPU counselling through JEE mains. I didn't have many options but I was getting HMR university, Echleon institute of technology, Guru teg Bahadur 4th centenary college, etc. I chose this college because among other IP colleges it has a better placement ratio and good environment and crowd. I wanted colleges like Maharaja agrasen institute of technology, maharaja surajmal institute of technology, bhartiya vidhyapeeth which comes on top of IPU rank list but due to my JEE rank was not able to get it but I'm still content with what I have. To get into my college u need to have a JEE rank around 4L for Tech branches and 6-7 L for other branches like Ece, Me etc. Admission experience was fine IPU delays the process alot but it was still manageable so overall fine...Read More

An okay choice if you want a GGSIPU govt. degree

I honestly didn't want to go to a private college , that was never my first choice even my last choice also but with my jee mains rank that was around one lakh ninety thousand I couldn't get any of the nits or some government college.The reason I chose this college because this college is affiliated to GGSIPU (guru gobind singh indraprastha university), so the degree is a government recognized one which can be valuable in the future.This was one of the main factor for me in the finalizing this college.
