A complete review for doing engineering in Osmania University

There are many aspects that influenced my decision to choose this course. In the 1st year, no matter what course did we chose but the college made us ready for the real world in all the fields. For example in 1st year we was made to do workshop, electricals, physics chemistry no matter what course did we chose. Course curriculum is perfect and I don't feel there should be any changes. Exam timing is also perfect because the management hear our problem of not completing the syllabus and postpones the exams.

I just know nothing about the placement process because I am still in my fourth semester of my college. Students are eligible for campus placements from 4th year starting semester. Average package is 7 LPA and highest is 24 LPA. In cse 100% students get placed. My plans after getting degree is doing a software job for now.

Actually the availability of scholarship is good since the college is the government college. But the problem is the office people won't respond to students perfectly when asked about such things and fees. We should literally travel to arts college SBI bank for everything and get the bonafied for 50 rupees. Getting the sign of hods is the biggest task for us. Our tuition fees is 1.2 lakh as our course is self finance. Compulsory charges are exam fees and supplimentary fees. E -pass is applicable. I didn't take any jobs. But I volunteered in many events occured in my college.

I rate 10/10 in this particular thing because there is a lot of chance to participate in culturals, sports, swimming, clubs, talks, startup ideas, etc. and many more. There are many clubs like emcc, IEEE,sae, robotics, etc. Almost all will be student run clubs. We can just enjoy a lot in this college life.

Admission process is quite simple because there are many people to guide us. Reservation benifits are there for getting admission to our college. Like there is comparatively more chances of getting into the course. And fees reimbursement is available if we get an eamcet rank of below 10,000. Exam frequency level is good. With good difficulty level. No need of any improvement in admission process.

Our college professors are highly qualified and experienced people. Faculty to student ratio is good. Our management will never fail to allot perfect faculty for the students. We can contact the faculty at almost anytime. Most of them are friendly too and they are good advicers for our future. Teaching is always good and though if it's not, our management checks the faults and tries to arrange the better one.

There is an entrance test i.e., Eamcet and the admission is done based on the Eamcet rank. Topics will be Jee syllabus for all physics chemistry and mathematics. My intermediate college made us prepare for the exam.
