Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Since I had a keen interest in electronics I had opted for Electronics and Communication Engineering(ECE). Also the average package and the internship opportunities further motivated me to take this course. The curriculum of this course is according to the NEP 2020 which make it upto the industrial level. Professors are highly qualified and their main emphasis is on the technical and practical skills. But somewhere their is the lack of real life industrial exposure which I think the administration can fulfill. Our college take one endsem and a mid sem exams every semester. Apart from it their is frequent class quizes taken by the faculity members of various subjects.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are certain criteria for apply for internship one of the most importantthing depending upon your branch your cpi matter. Almost 90-95 % student got an internship and many of them got PPO. College placement cell provide good guidance for internship.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our college is the no one nit in them of placement with an average package of 17 lp and median of 13 lpa. Students from 5th semester are eligible for applying for intership and after 7th semester they are eligible for the placement. Various MNCs like Google,Microsoft,Adobe,Apple visit in our company with lucrative packages. The Highest Package was offered of 80 lpa by Atlasian to one of our senior.Numerous startups like zomato, ola, oyo. etc also visit our campus with hefty packages. Our college have a record of hundered percent in campus placement which include multiple offers to single candidates. A large no of students also get ppo before the placement session. I had planned for the corporate carrier further after the completion of my degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The Tution fee is quite decent compare to the private engineering colleges and the IITS. A fee of 93000 is charged per semester although some students belonging from economically weaker background may get fee waivers depending on their family income certificate. Their is also an option for full fee waiver if the income of the student's family is below 1 lakh. Apart from this state government also provide various scholarship to these students. Administration provide free laptops to the needy students. For the students who want to make their income for their expenses also get internal employment opportunities.

Campus Life

3.5

Our college organise cultural and technical fest at a very large scale. The name of the cultual fest is Culruv and that of the technical fest is Avaiskar. Each and every student of our college got equal opportunity to participate and contribute in the fest. The techincal fest invlove various events offered by the every branch of engineering. Also the cultural fest is comparable to most of the nits and iits. Our classrooms are well occupied with the projectors and all our classes are air conditioned and have a bright atmosphere. An annual sports meet is organised by our college consisting of numerous sports events including cricket, basketball etc. Their is a student run club named Anokhipahel in our college which aim to provide free eduation from nursery to class 12th to the poor children whose family can't affort even basic education.

Admission

I had applied to this college via the JOSAA Councilling process headed by the education ministry. In JOSAA i was alloted MNNIT ALLAHABAD on the basis of my jee mains rank. For my branch the cutoff was 9100 AIR to which I was qualified because of my 8100 jee main AIR. Although this is a general category cutoff , one belongs to the EWS or OBC-NCL category definetly get an edge. SC/ST candiate can even get a more edge during admission as the seats are alloted to them at a very low rank. Our college take end sem examinations at the end of every semester along with a mid sem which is generally taken after 3 months of the commencement of the semester. The papers are made by our highly qualified professors and are upto the level of Gate and ESE examiation. Although the evalution process and the marking sceme is a bit tough but neverthenless it help us to push our level.Though the admission process is half online and half physical , the administration may look forward to the rest online

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it average . It is comprehensive but not so useful as in todays world we require more skills than the formulas. It is related to communication and i am very interested in that . It is not very good for real world application but wr do learn about the basics and get hold of how everything work but does not cover advanced technology. Syllabus should be revised and should be more based on skills than theory and rattafication There are 3 to 4 exam per semester which can be very hectic that it feels like we are giving exams every few weeks. Difficulty is not that much but syallabus is really hard to cover amd we can not focus more on skills and projects more of the time we are giving exams

course curriculum is little bit out-dated, and improvements are needed in terms of syllabus. timing of exams are ok ok. so many assignments are given which is really hectic because their are deadlines to upload those assignments in google classroom. and one thing i hate about college is 75% attendence is must. due to this we do not get much time for our personal development.
