Likes

I met a few a good people that i call my friends which was nice.
The degree i get will hopefully be a backup for future endeavours.

Dislikes

The curriculum is disappointing since it puts you to sleep most of the time.
The minimum attendance criteria to sit in the exams is ridiculous.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum I think still lacks relevance since I a lot of it can be crammed up and pertains to rote learning which is to be done a day before the examination and the things which are actually to be studied to obtain a job in these tough market situations are to studied by ourselves only by online or whichever means.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is as follows: Family annual income : <1 Lakh = 10,000 per sem Between 1 Lakh and 5 Lakh = 65,000 >5 Lakh = 1,25,000 Scholarships are available and students are regularly notified about it.

Campus Life

Our college is quite small compared to other colleges and inside the campus there aren't per se a lot of variety of places for hanging out, but it helps that it's on the main road which huge plus. There's a Left Garden, Main garden, Amul Parlor, vachan parlor, cricket and football ground.

Admission

The admission process was quite sofisticated and systematic as first it was done by nta online which included all the jee related stuff and finally we were called in the college once for final step in the admission. The application process was nonetheless the same, the cut off however as it's known has always been high for highly competitive exams such as jee but I had done a lot of hardwork in the past year thus as such I didn't find much difficulty in clearing it. There aren't any problems that I found or parts that I didn't like about the admission process, per se it was quite alright and easy to do.

from 4th semesters companies started to hire students as their interns. and most of the 7th semester students get offer letters . The average placement of my department is 3 lakh per year. 25 percentage of students are getting placed in the collage placement

NIT RAIPUR, AN HIDDEN GEM

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are decent, average package is somewhere around 10-11 LPA and lowest around 4 LPA where are the highest is around 65 LPA. around 70% of students get placed through campus placement. As this is an NIT, there are many intership opportunity and stipend varis from 10,000-35,000 per month. Companies like Adobe, AMD, Intel, Microsoft provide intership opportunities in this college and over 20% students get properly paid internships

Placement Experience:

Collage provides the best placements in the whole chattishgar, it is one of the few collages in the whole country which have a dedicated drone learning ecosystem. In the 2020-2024 session averge placement is around 11.6 LPA, with the higest pakage of 34LPA and lowest of 3.6LPA. Accourding to ratio of eligible candidate and placed candidate, 9-0 percent of then get placed. Not only the placements, collage also helps in finding internships as well.

NIT Raipur (The Fastest Developing NIT)

Some major points where NIT Raipur stands out over the other colleges. It's Placements, being an NIT it's decent enough for anyone choosing a college in a peaceful and affordable city like Raipur. It's Alumni connections, that make the college foundation really strong. The Student Culture is really good for personal growth, for someone who is still figuring out his/her career NIT RR could be a really good college for them.
