UNDERSTANDING NIT RAIPUR

Day by day our course curriculum is getting aligned with the needs of the corporates. We are teached with the latest technologies and skills that are required to excel in our field.i chosen Computer science as my course because of my keen interest. There are two exams mid and end semester and they are moderately difficult testing all the aspects of the subjects and preparing completly. More practical ways must be used to teach .

In our college we are provided with the oncampus intern opportunities. Companies like Paypal, Visa etc. provide intern for the Software developer engineer roles for CSE IT departments, as well as many companies provide intern for the CORE branches . The skills in Web development and Data structures are required for SDE interns.

In our college, there is good campus placement opportunities almost 100 percentage is placed in CSE branch . students are eligible for placements in 4 year. We are also provided with the oncampus intern opportunities. This year placement season is going on, last year highest package was 80 LPA offered by Atlasian. More than 300 offers were given to the students and around 100 companies visited the campus for placements. Average package of the college is around 11.5 LPA.

Tution fees in our college is approximately same every year with minimal improvement,for general category it's 140500 per year. So for me it costs around 8 to 10 lakhs for complete graduation. There are many scholarships available for the different caste and categories also with fees redemption. Right now I am in 2 year, next year I will participate in intership session.

There are many technical and fun fests are conducted,filled with joy and innovation and education side as well . We are provided with all the basic needs like gym , sports area, grounds , library etc. There are different different clubs and commitee for trying our hobbies like singing , dance , verbal skills , technical skills, and much more. There are also clubs like Sahyog club that prepares and help students with the interview needed skills, go green club that works for the welfare of social aspects, NCC club aiming to make us aware for the growth .

In our college there is some shortage of hostels as our campus is old and new campus is in progress to be developed, so here hostel is given on the basis of merits including CPI , as well as there is reservation for the categories. We are provided with the almirah ,chair , table, bed and lights and fans in the room. Food quality is average. Hostel fees is same for all students irrespective of the category.

I gave JEE Main entrance exam for the entrance into NIT Raipur college, my percentile was 98.8 and rank 10919.i come under general category.i don't avail any reservation . For the information regarding college i used my connections and internet. Improvement can be done by making process more smooth.
