Course Curriculum Overview

All the teachers in shivalik college are really supportive, they are always ready to clear all doubts you have related to your subject. Many teachers even clear our doubts through video call if they are not available in the college at that time.

Placement Experience

After 7th semester students start to get placement in the companies. There are alot of companies that offered placements in the college including Google, Microsoft, Disney+ hotstar, etc. The highest package has gone 60 lakh pa. Percentage of placement is almost 100%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The complete cost including hostel charges are nearly 800000. In front of the services they provide, the price is cheap. the employment rate of the college is nearly 100%. Many colleges with these kind of services aren't this cheap, which means the price here is really affordable

Campus Life

There are alot of clubs, social groups, etc are there in the college. For example, Explorine club, carvan club, tracking club, etc. There are almost all range of books in the college library, In top of that they have newspaper stand, reading area, computers, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The fees for the hostel is 80000/year. The quality of meal is really good in top of that they take reviews from students everyday to increase the quality of food. They provide meals 4 times is a day, breakfast, Lunch, snacks and dinner

Admission

In my case, eligibility of the course was 60%+ in 12th board exams. Either you can find the application form for admission in shivalik college of engeneering's official website or you can come to the college youself to do the admission process. The main semester exams are held in 5-6 months and every month they take practice test of the students and they also take sessional exams twice in a semester. The process of admission was smooth, i didn't found any difficulties in this. In fact the members who was doing the admission process were really supportive.

Campus placements starts here from the final year only as before that intenrships and workshops and trainings take it's toll. So, once they starts, every other week we have some or the other companies visiting here and not just that, they also don't go empty hand.

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

I choose this course because this college is semi government college in Haridwar . And fees are also not so high as compared to other private colleges . Real world applications are there as we have learn alot of knowledge in our first year about that like communication skills , public speaking , webinar and seminar etc. improvement is only needed in the good infrastructure and much more advanced technology should be there to deal with . The timings are of 3hrs in the semester exams and in the sessional it is of 1 hrs . Difficulty level is moderate .

in our college placement is good unless you have Backlogs,less then 75% attendence and the training fee if you dont join the the training fee then you are not allowed to join the placement interviews. those who dont get placement they try off campus for the placement but according to me employbility rate just 6-7 out of 10

I choose this college of others because i wanted to continue to study in a budget friendly and well reputable college of dehradun. No i didn't get any rejection cause i dont applied in any another college. The admission process is so simple you just have to pay 10k to reserve your seat then you have to pay 15k for the admission fee and then the other process you got at college and the eligibility to get admission is 50% in intermediate....Read More

SCE is best in Dehradun

Admission criteria are different as I took admission under SC category so it was 67% cut-off for me as otherwise it was 81%. One just have to come to the college and seal the deal by filling the admission form. We are informed on call, mail and WhatsApp if our name is there in the cut-off list. I applied for Graphic Era University and I was invited too for counseling but at the same time I was getting confirmed admissions here as well. 81% was the cut-off for BBA ar Shivalik College of Engineering and I had a slight more than that.
