SCE is best in Dehradun

For someone who has commerce decisively after 10th, out of the options that I saw, BBA looked the best to me. Also, out of colleges that I saw, Shivalik is indeed one of the best so I took admission here.

At Shivalik like we have been advised to find internships from each semester here on. So after internship the CV building and skill building training are provided. It is amazing to know that many reputed and well established names such as Windlas Biotech and RR Cable have started coming to our campus and hiring students as junior managers at a salary of 4 lakhs or so.

Shivalik College of Engineering Dehradun is perhaps one of the top engineering colleges in Uttarakhand. Ofcourse it is better for engineering but management courses are not low either. The fees for the same is 1.02 lakhs but because I took admission under SC category my fees is 60000 and 5 thousand was registration charges and 1000 for the form.

Our campus are is big and so is the beauty inside it. Lovely greenery as there are three gardens and one is U shaped where the hoarding of I Love Shivalik College is there and many selfies and photos are clicked there on daily basis. We have an annual fest called Shiva Fest and that too is so powerful packed that those three days we dance like no one is watching.

Admission criteria are different as I took admission under SC category so it was 67% cut-off for me as otherwise it was 81%. One just have to come to the college and seal the deal by filling the admission form. We are informed on call, mail and WhatsApp if our name is there in the cut-off list. So, it was easy and smooth process altogether.

Very helpful is the way I can start describing them as they are one of the most helpful creatures of the planet. Now coming to how they teach us as I have finished two semesters so I can say that their teaching manual is as good as faculties of overseas university. Some of them are even passed out from those universities so the same culture has been brought as well by them.

GD rounds were not there but yes PI was conducted. It was a challenging one as top people were interviewing us and one can get nervous. So more than knowledge they checked our body language and questions on politics were asked to me.

There's a Nescafe Parlour inside our campus and close to our campus we have Sanjeev Fast Food Joint and Chilli Bean Cafe. Also, Millitary Academy and FRI are quite close so those are the best hangout places near our college.
