NMAMIT... Inside out

The course I chose is mechanical engineer because of my own interests and the curricular is pretty relevant to what we will be needing in our future. And they have MOU'S with companies like L&T , Autoliv and Toyota. And they have a pretty good placement record for our branch as well.

Our batch has tie ups with companies like L&T and AutoLiv and Toyota etc. There are a lot of other MOU's as well. They have a very supportive environment for the students for internships and encourage them to do it

The students are eligible for placements from the 5 sem onwards. And they have been Pretty good for branches like ME EC EEE etc they have around 95-100% placements. My plans for now is to complete b tech and go for masters in automobile.

The fees is around 1.6 lakhs per year for ME but it's in the ball park of 2-2.5 lakh for the IT branches and in between them for the other branches. There are scholarships that you can get based on your performance in the entrance exams and there will be no tution fees increase policy. But you scholarship might be cancelled if you get a backlog in any subject then you will have to pay the whole fees. And there are a few more other scholarships that are mentioned in the college website

The annual fest is called "Incridea" which is basically 3 words combined together that is "innovate, create and ideate". This is held in the even semister's and will be a 4 days long event which includes a lot of concerts and compitions and a lot more and the best part all the decor for the fest will be done in the college itself by the students to be more specific the art club of the college that is "RACHANA". There technical fest is known as "AIKIYA" . Now coming to the library, it's huge and has all the necessary reference materials that you will need including question papers. They have ample tech in the class as well. Now the club culture is really good there are a lot of them and a few are related to hobbies as well like authorcraft (related to literally) and as mention earlier rachana and the Aero club is currently India's best and similar story with the other clubs as well.

There are a few blocks of hostels provided and you can choose which one you want. But most of them have 2 people accommodation and have an attached bathroom as well. It's enough for 2 people but could have been a bit more spacious. The food is okay nothing special about that. Registration for the hostel will be done along with the college admission process itself.

The college takes admission based on their own entrance exam called NUCAT. The link for the application is available on the official website of the college. You will also find the fee structure for different course there as well. They held 3 rounds exams every year. And can be taken in both online and offline mode.
