I did diploma in computer engineering from GPM, Bandra. Which made me eligible for admission for direct second year of engineering.
Course Curriculum Overview
Semester Pattern. Affiliated to Mumbai University. Exams are scheduled as per university norms. There are term tests, labs, assignments, oral exam. Final year we get to choose subjects.
Internships Opportunities
Collage did offered internship but I didn't opt for it.but friends did internship. There was project assigned to them. Which was also the final year project for the college. Stipend was around 10K.
Placement Experience
Excellent. Lots of big companies visit for the campus drive. Ample opportunities. With mock interview sessions. Dale Carnegie training for grooming. Group discussions practice. TCS, L&T, Igate, capegemini they offered 3 to 3.5 lakhs.
College Events
Annual Day - Verve. Project exhibitions. Traditional day celebrations. Sports events. DJ nights, Fashion shows, Dance competitions, singing, plays. It's very happening college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's feasible for 'caste' students. Being OBC, my annual fees were 49K, 54K, 63K respective years. For open category its around 1 lakh. Special backward class enjoys with fees in 15-20K range.
Fees and Financial Aid
College offers scholarship. As per government policies. College management do offer help to needy if there's the case. No special scholarships.
Campus Life
It's equal gender ratio. There are annual sports events. Almost all sports. Labs are well equipped. There is no racial or sexual abuse. It's good and safe atmosphere.
Alumni/Alumna
College publishes monthly magazines with alumni. College has its own site. There own social network. There was no instance when we interacted with seniors apart from casual meet or events.
