Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is designed perfectly as much as relevant and useful to the industrial knowledge and as well as other various real world applications and even for higher studies preparations. We have our cycle tests every month in a 4 month sem at which at the end we have our end sem and as well as we have various projects that weight for our internals and the exams difficulty level can be described as moderate difficult not too easy nor too hard

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for my course is 3.5L / year and yea basic math will tell that I'd need 14L over 4 years to complete my UG programme. There are various scholarships available such as having a good srmjeee would provide you a waiver but you also need to follow certain guidelines and rules to maintain the scholarship over 4 years. From 2nd year there's performance based scholarships and there's a beautiful scholarship programme for students who's parents serve the Indian army

Campus Life

Beautiful campus overall with perfect amenities everywhere around the campus. The level of technology available in our classrooms are top notch and not something many universities can compete with. We've various student clubs ranging from non technical to technical clubs and as well as sports clubs. And the cultural fests are nation wide cultural fests which we're well known for

Admission

Common Engineering Entrance exam level of knowledge is required for the srmjeee and the application form and other details are available at srm admission portal available on the web. The exam is for 3 hours and it's held in 3 phases I'd recommend the management to restrict it to 2 phases for better selection for the university

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from the 7th semester.companies Like tcs,wipro,zoho,infosys vist. The highest packages is 24lap,average 3lpa and around 85%of student get placed. I plan to start my career in IT and gain experience.

There are companies but the companies that were told that the good ones, they didn't come so much.. only a few companies that gave a package above 5 lakhs came in for my department.. the rest of them were either 4 lakh package or below it was not very good. even the 1 or 2 good companies that came tehy came for electrical.

Our placements are as good as any college or university in India. Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, Deloitte, and any company which is into software comes at our campus for placements. Average stands at 8 lakhs but students of our campus has grabbed packages of 50 LPA as well.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of each course is different and it is followed by the guidance of Anna university, we have several topics and it is under the regulation of 2021 respectively, I feel this easier to learn and there comes an opportunity to do what we learn in theory hour in our laboratory hour it will make more connected to our course, but there is lagging factor that is we are far away from the modern world and we need to put effort to compete with. The exams are not difficult and the frequency of the exam is quite manageable.

The truth of RMD ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 3rd year for placements and also who don't have standing arrears ,if they have standing arrears the clg management will remove them from placements and also the Placements are very poor . The average package is 350000/year . And the maximum package is 15L Last year nearly 100 students out of 180 in cse dept are non-placed , they are forced to write higher studies letter and submit in college . Even though they won't help for any placement side.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

I chose this because of good placements and they have average of 7.5 lakhs.Compare to vit vellor or any other collage srm has good placements and good way to explore.To get admission we need to pay 10000 rs to lock the seat and then aftee filling the forms we need to pay hostel and collage fees....Read More

Chose SRM University mainly because of its strong reputation in engineering, excellent infray,and placement opportunities.I has applied to a few other private universities like VIT Vellore and Manipal University.while I did get a confirmed admission from one,i felt SRM had a more vibrant campus life,better connectivity to Chennai City, and a strong alumni network. I choose this college because it had a great placement record than any other tier 3 college in the NCR region. The Student Life at SRM IST

I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida. I cleared both bht I preferred this college over Amity University because of many reasons - fees, cultural activities, student crowd, placement.
