The course here in mining is excellent and there are very skilled teachers who have worked in coal India and they are very helpful in providing any update and help for students carrier. The gate air 3 this year is from our college only and many more rank . The syllabus includes the survey mining , surface mining , geology, underground mining , maths , and basic computer science also which allows students to pursue their choice of carrier. The curriculum also have practicals in survey and also mine visit which allows students to get the real feel and deal.with the problems in the industry the frequency of exam is 4 times in a year midsem and endsem in each semester the area of improvement is only lack of machines and materials for the department.

The placement here in college is good for all the branches. The computer science average CTC is 18 lakhs and is good the average package for the college is 12 lakhs per annum my branch mining is having a average of 11 lakhs for core it is a very good package also gate package. The percentage this year is reduced due to recession which is faced by all the colleges but still it is 78 percent. If you have good cpi then it will be easy for you to get placement offers and sit in the campus placement. My plan is too prepare for gate exam and get into coal India which have a CTC of 16 lakhs and a government job . The highest package this year is 50 lakhs which is given by Adobe and also 36 lakhs is given to 8 students and many more good packages . Companies like deshaw, Adobe , adani, tata , Accenture, Amazon visit the campus . The number of companies visited is around 100

The tution fee mine is 52000 as I have less then 5 lakhs per annum so the 2/3 tution fees is off from the government. The fee structure for obc and sc/St is even more less they have too pay only 10000 per year soo it is very less for them . For a general candidate the tution fees is 1 lakh 40 thousand the tution fees is not increased as it is a government college my complete cost for the college will be around 6 lakh rupees including college fees and hostel fees there is also scholarship for the students who have less than 1 lakh income they are given 25 thousand annually by the government and u can apply through college the campus employment includes roles like various clubs and commite also there are campus ambassador program and in summer you can also do internship in your area of interest

The campus life in Nit Raipur is not that much good like other NIT as the campus is small and only 100 acres but new campus work is going on in 300 acres which will have all the facilities. The hostel is is provided on the basis of jee mains rank and after 1st year in the basis of cpi they do have reservations for th seat but hostels seat here is limited. The facilities here includes library which have many books more than 50 thousand there is also computer center where you can study with good wifi also there are basketball court and vollyball court there is also cricket and football ground also have 1 gym and a new building is also been constructed which will have chess room 2 wooden badminton court and many more there are all teh clubs which ranges from 10 to 12 includes ecell , technocracy , tedx , innovation cell , sanskriti and many more in which you can join and work as a team

Hostel facility is provided only in the basis of your jee mains rank and cpi there is limited seat for the hostel for both girls and boys . Hostel food is good not bad they provide all the meals to the students the room is a shared room with 2 more students and they provide all the basic facilities like table chair bed almirah also cleaners are there, laundry comes 1 times in a week the registration process is simply you can apply through your college website and it is very affordable from outside life as it have only 55000 rupees for the whole year including mess and hostel and electricity. For the students who do not get hostel they can look out for pg and room near to the nit in kota Saraswati nagar and ddu nagar

Addmission process was through Jossa councling after csab round the eligibility of course is that you have 75 percent in cbse board exam application form includes Jee mains exam reservation is their for Sc,St,Obc,Gen-Ews. JEE Exam is conducted in 2 sessions the cutoff for my branch was 75000 rank of jee mains for general-ews through csab counselling the application process that I don't like was the lack of communication with college about the required documents so it becomes difficult to arrange documents at the time of reporting
