Firstly closure to my home town and also good environment led me to this university Curriculum wise i wanted to pursue CSE The curriculum is quite like traditional system, it depends on your hardwork. If you r willing then it comes up with opportunities More practicality can improve teaching Medium to hard exams and 3 times a semester

Class Size: 56Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college as such doesn't provide with any internships but we can avail internships in the colleges on offline and online modes. But the internships are provided to PHD scholars with fixed stipend so that they can continue their research

Fees and Financial Aid

Complete cost of education can be around 800000 to 900000 With scholarships it can even get as low as 100000 Financila aid like batch scholarships from which upto 9 can get scholarship according to their ranks

Campus Life

There are fests like resurgence and sarang tha are organized every year and the include activities like cultural and literary space and the second content is Bharat events respectively. Moreover University has badminton courts and basketball and tennis courts

Hostel Facilities

The facilities provided in the hostel room are basic table bed chairs and lights and also a drawer almirah more over the facilities like water and ventilation are good food quality is good and registration process for hostel needs less paperwork and is affordable

The course is eligible on 12th marks and jee mains rank basis Application form and everything relevant can be found on official site of Shri mata vaishno devi University I didn't avail reservation Exams are quite medium to hard and 3 times in a semester Paperwork can be reduced

our placement is not that good but its improving very fast and if I don't get placement from this college then i do mba from foreign through clearing gmat exam or preparing for government exams in india

Placement Experience:

Our institute has a placement call, and it helps the students acquire jobs in the industry. Many top companies like Wipro, L and T, and NVIDIA visit our campus, and it provides jobs in every field from Information Tech. to Material-related jobs. Here job opportunities are for every branch. Recently in one day 30-40 students got placed at an average package of 10 LPA. Most of the opportunities are for CSE and IT students as it goes for every institute and some companies like GAIL, and IOCL. BARC gives internship opportunities to chemical branches too. The core branches like Electrical and Mechanical also perform well in the placements. From the 7th semester, placement opportunities are given to the students. Highest package 40 LPA and median package 10 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Good things is that they offer minor courses for us where we can choose extra courses which we may find interesting and yaa not only that interdepartment projects can also be chosen which is very strange but don't seems relevant.curriculum earlier they were following of iit Delhi and new curriculum is not very exact and relevant because sometimes there are some unnecessary courses and no point of learning that course which forcefully imposed on us to take this course as it comes under institute department courses and are mandatory which is not so good

NIT srinagar : A place signifying Majesty of nature and a ground for academic growth

Placement Experience:

I think the students become eligible for placements after 6 th semester, if you are from CS / IT then you'll get enough opportunities for yourself... I know 8-9 seniors who have grabbed a pretty decent package from companies like Oracle If somehow you fail to get recruited on campus then i guess the off campus option is open for all I am pretty satisfied with the placement record atleast for IT The percentage placement for this year CSE was 51 considering recession part this seems good to me

First apply for jee mains exam and get a rank under 50000 and also minimum 75% marks in 12th exam and you have only three attempt to qualify jee mains exam if you clear the cutoff so you also eligible for jee advance exam for the admission in IIT

Review about Shri mata vaishni devi university

Remarks:

The university is situated in the Trikuta foothills and is 80 km away from the main Jammu city so one has to bear that because everything is not available sometimes. Electricity is 24×7 and the weather is awesome.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
